I have spent hours working on my MP3 transfers to get ready for the season. I have enjoyed all the work of doing it. I was getting ready to sync everything up, I hit the wrong button. I LOST EVERYTHING!!! All that work I have done the last two days is gone. I have to start over, I am beyond frustrated.

Good morning! Sighhhhhh....I was so looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend for a change. But, instead, I woke up to having to repair a leaking sink and I just got a phone call from my brother and he just informed me that they just found my father passed away on his couch. My brother stopped down there to visit on a whim and made the discovery. He's down there at the house with the police right now, so I'm going to head over and consult and provide comfort for my grandfather (who is 95 and my father was his only child).

Always something.....I'll talk to ya all later tonight~

Just checking in with you all. My husband had his shoulder surgery which turned out to be more extensive than we had thought. He's had a very rough few days with pain. He seems to be turning the corner tonight, thank goodness.
xmastidings- I am sorry for your loss~ always tough, but particularly poignant as we approach the season of family traditions.
I'll try to get caught up a bit as I relax and watch Hallmark Countdown to Christmas!

I'm happy for you...!

I didn't lose the MP3's, I lost the playlists I had ready to transfer from my computer to my MP3 player. I just have to go back through and find all the songs I had set up ready to go. I have thousands of songs to go through again. I have already spent about 7-8 hours working on this project.

[Holiday]

I forgot to mention that I am going to decorate my Christmas tree tonight! :sparkle:

My wife and I have finished decorating the house. The 3 trees are up, the garland and the lights are up and the outdoor lights have been on since 4:30pm. I'm exhausted, sitting in my chair with Franklin (our cat) asleep on my lap watching the Raptors game...and I could not be happier. I love when the house is decorated.

Soooo jealous!!! Enjoy sitting by your tree's!!!!

I did have a nice birthday, thank you.
We had Taco Tuesday with the kids and grandkids since surgery was scheduled on Thursday, we kept it low key on my actual birthday.
I appreciate the kind thoughts and I hope you are doing well, my friend!
