Good morning all you fellow Christmas crazies!!! Up this morning trying to get the kids moving so we are not late today.

Going to be a busy day as usual. I work until 5, DD gets done basketball tryouts at 5:30, then she has soccer practice at 7 till 8:30. Sometime in here I need to feed them some supper
I would love to work on my decorating some more tonight but I will just have to wait and see if I have any energy left I've got 2 naked trees up , the lights look great but boy do they need some ornaments.

I've got about 2 hours between dropping kids off at school and when I need to be at work, looks like some window shopping

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wide awake at 5 am. Have I ever mentioned that I hate the time change in the fall?

Nancy and I had a great date night. We got involved cleaning out my closet first, so we were late getting the kids to my mom's. We decided to get some takeout and watch a movie at home, instead. Nice!

After Elizabeth's Nutcracker practice yesterday, we had supper at Nancy's parents'...I had the first steak I've eaten in a year and a half. Wow, it was good!

It is going to be a sunny but chilly day with a high of 45 degrees.
I will be leaving in a few minutes for an appointment. I am going to run a few errands on my way back and then head home to catch up with my chores.
My oldest thinks she might be coming down with something, I hope she isn't. I'm going to make a big pot of chicken soup for dinner.

Good morning! It is such a chilly morning here in PA. Right now it has warmed up to 35 degrees. This morning when I woke up, it was 28 degrees out!

Nothing special planned for today, except I finally get these stitches out - woo hoo! I don't have class either, which is a plus.

Good morning, MMC! I just glanced at the clock and I was surprised to see that it is only 10:29 AM - I thought that it was well past noon already!

I have nothing planned today, and I love it that way. I have been so busy lately that I am looking forward to just having a day at home. I am going to watch a little bit of football, and tonight some of my favorite TV shows are on. I smell the dinner that my mom is preparing and it's already making me hungry! I already have such a hectic week planned. I have an appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I swear, I never have any free time! At least this week I will be getting all of the heart tests out of the way.

I guess I am going to go surf the forum!

How the heck is everyone? I, myself am fantastic

Little update since July-- good tidings have been brought to my life this whole year! Amazing what happiness can do for you
- bought a 2013 Mitsubishi lancer, sports edition.. Woohoo traded in the g5 towards it, yes I feel a little sassy when I drive it LOL
- found a brand new, basement suite out in the country everything included!... For me & Ryan to live in
- Ryan moved here at the end of September (yay! No more long distance)
- now have a set schedule at work, which is mon-fri!! Still a fair bit of hours, but am thankful I now have a job that allows me to keep my bills paid & food in my belleh
- am very happy!
Things have been going really well for me (finally!) in all aspects of my life! Relationship great, family awesome, friends superb.. Life is just good! Now to get back on track with somewhere I have missed dearly in my crazy busy life! MMC!!!!

Went to port yesterday to pick up a little something near and dear to my heart... mom handed down her beautiful 7ft Christmas tree to me!!!
She's had it since I can remember and it's always been her pride & joy come christmas time! My grandma may end up a bit ticked and I know my sister was upset.. They've both been vying for it for as long as I can remember & I won't lie, I'm not completely innocent either when it comes to "who gets THE TREE?"... Somehow I get the honours (I am the oldest daughter.. That has to count for something right?), might just have to arm my home with security cameras & the occasional ninja now though.. Keep their pesky little mits off it! Hahaha
My mom usually went a little Clark griswald on it (yes a billion sparkling lights LOL).. So hopefully I can try to keep up with her tree decorating standards hahaha! Poor boyfriend won't be able to see the telly anymore if I follow mas footsteps muahaha, wait maybe that's a good thing!!!! Oh who am I kidding, I wanna watch the tube too!!! :d
I was planning on putting it up today, but I may wait till next weekend seeing as the little amount of decorations I do have for the tree... Are packed away in the storage closet:/ ( and I gotta pick up more!!)

Good morning everyone! I have a busy day ahead of me. Just thought I would stop by and marvel at the countdown for a moment.

We are so close. A new week and, as Crown said, new beginnings are ever so close! I am looking forward to reading those Special Posts as we head toward the Christmas Season! This should be a magical nine more days.

I must now get ready and prepare myself for the day. Have a great Monday, everyone! It's a new work week, yet I think we're all excited for what is on the other side. It certainly has plenty to offer!

That numbing cream is the best stuff. It may be a little different then what we use in the hospital, but when we use it to start IV's and use it for different procedures, the kids do very well then. Good suggestion, Made.

Yes, the doctor gave me 20 of these (Emla) to start with. And we get as many as we need...

I've had some discomfort, but I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for a meds refill. I am also going to see about Vitamin B injections. Tell me more about your new job!

Good morning! Sighhhhhh....I was so looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend for a change. But, instead, I woke up to having to repair a leaking sink and I just got a phone call from my brother and he just informed me that they just found my father passed away on his couch. My brother stopped down there to visit on a whim and made the discovery. He's down there at the house with the police right now, so I'm going to head over and consult and provide comfort for my grandfather (who is 95 and my father was his only child).

Always something.....I'll talk to ya all later tonight~

Hey everyone! As the weekend comes to a close I am trying to get ready to go back to work after a 2 week break. We just got back from buying Christmas lights and hooks to hang on the wall. We got our first snow fall this morning!!! Nov 3rd was later than I thought but we have snow chances all week!!!
I have not even had chance to watch hallmark Christmas movies. I know Moonlight and Mistltoe came on all weekend and I had that set to record..it's one of our favorites. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I will catch up here hopefully soon. it's been such a hard past 2 weeks I hope things will look up soon!

I have spent hours working on my MP3 transfers to get ready for the season. I have enjoyed all the work of doing it. I was getting ready to sync everything up, I hit the wrong button. I LOST EVERYTHING!!! All that work I have done the last two days is gone. I have to start over, I am beyond frustrated.

Sorry, Xmas. That is frustrating. I went to transfer all the music over from my iPod, that is super old, to my iPhone, which holds a ton of music, so I thought I would keep it all on here. When it said it had synced, it was a gone. It of course erased it all, plus, my iTunes account is different now too, so everything is gone. Talk about not being happy!

All of my blood work came back from the cardiologist. Cbc perfect, kidney function perfect, and thyroid levels perfect. Now all that's left is the testing!

Just checking in with you all. My husband had his shoulder surgery which turned out to be more extensive than we had thought. He's had a very rough few days with pain. He seems to be turning the corner tonight, thank goodness.
xmastidings- I am sorry for your loss~ always tough, but particularly poignant as we approach the season of family traditions.
I'll try to get caught up a bit as I relax and watch Hallmark Countdown to Christmas!
