Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy dreary day here. So nothing going on outdoors for me. Instead I'm going to do some work on the computer that I have been putting off and maybe start putting out a few christmas decorations. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Enjoy your day! Sounds like fun putting out CHRISTMAS decs!!!

I forgot to mention but Wayne and I put up a couple of our Christmas Trees on Monday and got a few other decorations out. My granddaughter is here and asked, "Why do you have so many Santa Claus'"? Ha ha! Looks like I'm obsessed with him. =)

 Love it!! How fun!

LOL!!!! Tell her if she thinks that you are obsessed, she should see my collection!!!!!!! I'm up to about 120 of them.

COOL!!!

Five years ago today, I met someone very special.

All of you.

Thank you for five years of fun, hugs, and Christmas year-round! I'm looking forward to the next fifty or so!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! We are blessed to have you!!!

Good morning everyone and happy Pines Day. The week continues to be busy but I get a three day weekend coming up as the office is closed Monday for Veterans Day. I can't wait!

I hope you all have a great day!

Have a good day & enjoy your day off Monday!

Maggie and I appreciate the prayers, sending hugs back!

She looks just perfect!

the house is smelling like gingerbread again as LittleCS and I begin baking for the competition

Mmmmm!

Good morning!
It is going to be beautiful today, sunny with a high of 61 degrees.
I am heading out to visit my parents in a few minutes. My mom wanted me to come over this morning, she called to tell me she baked me some gluten free zucchini bread. Sounds good to me. I have a few errands to run after then back home to catch up with chores.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
Talk to you later!

Enjoy the visit with your parents - and the bread!

Carnival Magic. We have sailed on the Triumph (before it got stranded) and the Fantasy. The Magic is my favorite so far! It is an amazing ship!!!

Awesome! We were on Inspiration & Freedom! We like the Inspiration best of these 2!

It is raining here and 13c (55f), temps are not supposed to drop again until around the 13th.

Mom and I went to London yesterday to the Sweet Outlet to pick up the gifts mom wanted for Christmas. She got chocolate letters for the great grand kids and really nice ornamental metal balls with chocolate inside for the rest. She also got boxes of chocolates for her elderly ladies she visits regularly. This from an 82 year old! LOL

Feeling better today even though the situation still exists. Thanks for all the prayers.

It sure is hard to get back into a routine after getting off the ship. They sure do spoil you, don't they?! I love it but ready to come home by the time we reach home port but Wayne, I had to drag him off "kicking and screaming".

What ports did you visit on those ships?

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a little busy today, some of it with work and some of it was city business. I'll never understand why governments think that the best thing they can do is invent more regulations and reports for lower governments to be responsible for. Because of the continuously new and constantly revised House Bills, every stupid little state agency absolutely requires you to log into their website and fill out incomprehensibly organized and worded forms. If you don't do it just right, they threaten to prevent your town from receiving grants, or worse, they threaten to have your city charter revoked. Unbelievable.

As Thomas Paine said, "Government, even in its best state, is a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one."

***steps down off of his soapbox***

On a brighter note, Wednesdays are the days I get to spend extra time with my family. We always have a good time when we go out for dance & guitar lessons.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I love your way of thinking! That last statement just made the world a better place for you! Makes you forget about all the nonsense you mentioned in your previous statement. You have every right to be upset since it disrupted your day but oh so nice to have family to come home to and get to spend quality time! :D I know family always cheers me up!

Good morning MMC!!!! Happy PINES DAY!!!

:merry:

I am getting so excited & overwhelmed looking through the Thanskgiving magazines. So many things I want to try! I need to decide on a few & plan the Thanksgiving lunch! Once I figure out what I'm going to make, the others can chime in with what they want to bring! So exciting!!! I need to get in gear though - I need to start cleaning house so I'm not trying to do it all the week of Thanksgiving. We will have the Turkey Trott at our house in the morning & then the inlaws coming for lunch. Busy day! Dinner (supper) will be at my sisters, so I need to make something to bring there too! SO FUN!! I'm in such a holiday mood today!!!

:served:

I have 2 more rows to go on my Christmas afghan - and then a border. Hopefully I can finish that tonight!!!

I saw my Dad outside this morning on my way to work - he was bringing the trash out to the road for pick up, so I was happy to see him out & about after his procedure yesterday! Thanks for all the prayers!!

Hope you are all having a WONDERFUL Wednesday/Pines Day!!!

I understand. I wanted to kick & scream to stay too on board too!!! On the Inspiration we went to Grand Caymen & Playa Del Carmen. (5 day cruise) On the Freedon we went to Key West, Grand Caymen (again) & Ocho Rios Jamaica! LOVED them both!!! We had been to Ocho Rios to do Dunns River Falls on our honeymoon 15 years prior, so it was so fun to go back! WOW how it changed!!!

Ahhhhh - enjoy the time with your family!!! Have a good day Brad!

Sounds like fun! I wish I was in the kitchen with you both! We could crank up the Christmas music and we could sing out loud while baking!

Sounds really awesome!

Good afternoon everyone!

Happy 'Pines Day. It has been said, but it is officially the final 'Pines Day before the Christmas Season begins. We've come so far in 2013. Where has the year gone? I guess now is not the time to dwell - only to look forward to the excitement that awaits!

I sat by my phone last night and this morning only to not receive any phone calls for supply work. Thus, I have my third day off in a row. Hopefully something will come tomorrow. Friday, too! Initially, if I had no work, I had planned on going to the mall, but now I think I will just go to the grocery store and purchase some food to make for dinner... I'll make dinner this afternoon so it can just be heated following my visit to the gym.

Believe it or not, we're in double digits/mid 50s today in Ottawa. Above average, but temperatures are forecasted to move into seasonal by the weekend.

Well, the 'Pines looks great. Carl is practically a magician with his ideas. So many occasions to plan for but he does it so right! Despite marvelling at these decorations, I can't help but wonder to think what he has in store for next week when we all gather to celebrate the first day of the Christmas Season. A day of comfort and joy. A day when I feel proper to say those two magical words that will always warm my heart. Until then, have a great Wednesday, everyone!

I went to Outback last night and our waitress wished us a happy holidays after we paid the check. The shopping center it was in had their Christmas banners on the light poles in the parking lot too. I guess the season is approaching faster than I thought!

The rest of the world is starting to catch up with us fanatics. I have to go out and look tonight but I think one of the houses in the neighborhood behind us had some lights up.

Once my back is right again, my decor will be going up.
