Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a warm day here with a high in the mid 50's. Not much going on here. I've been dealing with my niece's this morning and reading through things on here. I'm dealing with a headache and didn't sleep very well so I think a nap is in order this afternoon. I don't know if I will get it though with the Colts playing this morning and then the race later this afternoon. I'll try to catch up some more on here too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you can get a nap in and get rid of that headache too!

Day 3 Special Post

All I needed to know about Christmas
I learned on MMC:

Celebrate all year long
Sing a Christmas song at least once a day
Play games with others
Laugh together
Pray for each other
Cry when your heart aches
Bake often and share the recipes and pictures
Watch Christmas movies, even in the summer
Take lots of pictures of your furbabies to share
It is ok to say Merry Christmas, happy holidays or Xmas
Say thank you often
Say hello to newcomers
Believe in Santa…and
Never, ever, loose the wonder of everything Christmas

Christmas is coming again, as it does faithfully every year.
It will come no matter what is going on in the world and in our lives.

We together have faced a year of great joys, welcoming new lives into the world and great sorrows in saying goodbye to friends, family members and beloved pets.
Praying, laughing and crying together as we shared those moments in our lives that we just knew others here would understand.

From daily conversations, to those special times of community chats, Christmas in July and greetings on the podcasts. With the ornament exchange and the mailing of Christmas cards, we bring Christmas into each others homes from around the world. Our very own Kringle radio keeps us dancing to Christmas tunes all year long. Of course we cannot forget the main event party of the year, “The Worlds Largest Christmas party”!!! The only one you can attend without the worry of what to wear.

So celebrate the birth of Jesus and the miracle of His coming. Get together with family and friends. Believe in Santa Claus and his magic. Give to those who are not as blessed as you are. Brighten those dark nights with bright lights and beautiful decorations.
Be excited, the Christmas season is about to begin!

This is very beautiful! It made me smile and some parts of it also made me laugh. You've just made my evening. Thank you. :]

Hello everyone! I haven't been logged on for ages (almost two days but it seems like ages). The weekend has been busy. I was working a lot on my habitat survey. I'm glad I'm doing better than I expected I will do. (Of course, I will see what grade I will get but anyway, not everything is said with grades, isn't it?) November seems going much faster than any other previous month. I can't believe next week is going to be the middle of the month. I feel like I'm getting old too quickly and I waste too much of my time.

I hope you all are having a relaxing Sunday evening. Best wishes!

So yesterday and again this morning my wife said we can decorate for Christmas anytime I'm ready!
She usually wants to wait but this year she has given me carte blanche! Oh the possibilities!

Go for it!

Thank YOU!

That was beautifully heartfelt.....it made me all emotional,
And I agree with it all the way BABY!
Don't you all feel it in the AIR!!!!
I do!

To everything there is a season
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born
A time to die

To everything there is a season
A time to laugh
A time to weep

To everything there is a season
Unspeakable joy at the arrival of Coach's daughter

To everything there is a season
Unbearable grief at the loss of our Louann

To everything there is a season
We join year long.... strangers in a world surely gone mad as we celebrate a time of peace and not war

Because this is our Season

And so it has come to this..

Four days until the season...

Great post Binger! I have been trying all day to read through the posts to get to the "special posts" - finally made it to Saturdays!!! And I love it!!!

:sparkle:

Good afternoon MMC friends! Like I said - I have been trying to read through posts all day & I keep getting side tracked - crocheting, trying to get all my canned goods organized - hubby just went out to mulch leaves (with the mower) - doing a lot of thinking/planning about Thanksgiving today! It's been an awesome day hanging out at home!!! I'm THINKING about putting up my Buckeye Tree in the basement tonight. I'll see what comes up between now & then! I have Hallmark movies on. I need more hours in this day!!!

We had a great time at the Winter Yuletide Gathering yesterday. I will have to send a pic of the candle I bought. I just love it & the smell...Mmmmm - Oh my!! :-) The drive to & from Tipp City was just gorgeous - the Christmas music in my car was awesome! Went out with friends last night. Ran into my bestest friend - was so great chatting with her. Haven't seen her for a couple months! We are both very excited for our annual shopping trip next month! We will be invading Made's state!!! Hee hee! Actually I will be invading Mades state on Tuesday - shopping with the neighbor ladies! Yippee! There is some great shopping in Indiana!

Our girls v-ball team won state yesterday - boys football won the 1st playoff game-big win! Great day all around!!!

I finished my Christmas afghan! I'm happy with how it turned out. I'll post some pics of that too after I take some! :) On to the next afghan!

Hope you are all having a super great Sunday!!

I'm watching the colts game and thinking I need a drink!!!! 38-8? Really? We are letting the Rams beat us up like this? Fox could at least switch us to the the Green Bay game so I could scan the crowd for Snowflake.

Good morning, friends~

Happy Saturday!!

What are your weekend plans?

My parents & Jazzie are heading up today, to hang out with us for the weekend. And tomorrow, Adrian & I, and some friends are going to Lambeau Field for the Packers-Eagles game. Bless my parents hearts, they made the trip to take care of Harlowe for us while we're gone. They adore her, and vice versa, so it all works out! And Jazzie & Har enjoy seeing each other, too.

Our friend, Eric, is coming up today as well. We are going to pick up his brother along the way tomorrow, and then meet my uncle & cousin for a bite to eat before the game. They will be there, too! Should be fun!!
Let's just hope Seneca Warren has been practicing this week!!

We have done some Christmas decorating this week, a little something here & there after work each day. We hung red & white lights on our deck, changed our outdoor bulbs to red & green, put battery operated wreaths around our carriage lights & front door, battery operated pine boughs on our stairway railings (love those, multi-colored or white lights, still or blinking), hung a few xmas signs, and even hung my vintage "believe" stocking. Yay!! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
Next weekend, I will be decorating the trees. Adi will put them up before he leaves, and I will decorate them & more things around the house. The village is after that! Can't wait!!

Work has been keeping me busy. Lots to learn!! And we've been short-handed with people being sick, and extra shoppers out & about.

I may not be around much for the next couple of days, but I'll be good, just enjoying my time with family & on the road trip. Go Pack, Go!!

Hope you all have a blessed & lovely weekend!!

xx

:hi:

Snowflake - it sounds like you have an absolutely awesome weekend planned! Enjoy every minute! How nice of your parents to make the trip to watch Harlowe! I'm sure they totally enjoy that! Great weekend all around. YAY!!!

Good morning all~ It's a beautiful sunny morning here in Baltimore! It looks like we had a frost last night, I can see out the window, the white on the cars and the lawn. I think this morning we are riding out to go look at a house that just came up on the market and do some general running.

Guess what, my real estate agent just called and said she has a contract in hand and is waiting on another. She didn't tell us any details over the phone because she said she wanted time to review it, before she sat down with us. Hopefully, it's good news and not a low ball offer; fingers crossed!

Tonight, we are having a birthday party for Victoria (her birthday is tomorrow), she is having about 15 of her friends coming over so we are going to run out and pick up her birthday cake and order allot of pizzas for tonight...That's allot of hungry teenagers to feed, lol...

i hope you all have a wonderful day today~

Good luck with the contract on your house!! WOW! Awesome! Hope the party went very well!!

Okay I know this belongs in the Blossoms thread but I got so excited I just had to post it here. Driving this evening what did we find?

Good afternoon!
Just having a quick cup of coffee and I thought I would pop in to say hello and read through today's posts quick. I had a great time with my parents this afternoon. Both of my brothers showed up and it was so nice to see them. Now I need to catch up with some chores and get started on dinner, we're having spaghetti and meatballs tonight. I'll talk with you all a little bit later, I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday so far!

Now we are back home.......after leaving yesterday morning for the Gummibear Tournament yesterday and after nine field hockey games for Kandice we are back.....

We slept on gymnastic matresses (I think I slept 5 minutes...hahaha) had some pasta for dinner and the girls almost lost everything....but won their last game....Of course they were very happy about that.....Kandice even threw up her hockey stick in joy......oh and she scored her first goal yesterday.....I was very proud....because she also was behaving very, very well....One proud Mama....oh yeah....and she played a great defense!!!!

btw less than 50 days til X MAS

Congrats to Kandice!!!

So yesterday and again this morning my wife said we can decorate for Christmas anytime I'm ready!
She usually wants to wait but this year she has given me carte blanche! Oh the possibilities!

Go for it Ryan!!!

That's what we ended up getting. I really like the way it drives. That car does so much!

Hope you enjoy your new vehicle!! Fun stuff!! :D My hubby has his heart set on the Chrysler Aspen (SUV) which they quit making - in 2009 or 2010 - but he just loves them! He is always on Craigslist & the auction websites looking for one with low miles! I like them too, so someday there will probably be one in our garage -probably sooner rather than later. Ha ha!
