This is very beautiful! It made me smile and some parts of it also made me laugh. You've just made my evening. Thank you. :]

***

Hello everyone! I haven't been logged on for ages (almost two days but it seems like ages). The weekend has been busy. I was working a lot on my habitat survey. I'm glad I'm doing better than I expected I will do. (Of course, I will see what grade I will get but anyway, not everything is said with grades, isn't it?) November seems going much faster than any other previous month. I can't believe next week is going to be the middle of the month. I feel like I'm getting old too quickly and I waste too much of my time.

I hope you all are having a relaxing Sunday evening. Best wishes!

I'm sure you'll do great, Victoria!

I didn't get this memo, neither did my kids!!! :)

Environment Canada has upgraded a snow squall advisory, warning that London, Middlesex, western Elgin, eastern Lambton and Huron County could be hit Monday night.

The heaviest snow squalls could produce snowfalls of 10 centimetres or more by Tuesday morning, Environment Canada said in a severe weather bulletin issued Sunday afternoon.
Brisk winds may result in near zero visibilities in snow and blowing snow, the bulletin said.
"Motorists are urged to exercise caution as untreated roads become snow covered and slippery with sudden reductions to visibility possible. These winter driving conditions are expected to last through Tuesday," Environment Canada said.
The agency said an arctic cold front will sweep through Southern Ontario on Monday, bringing the coldest air of the season into the area.

Hope you enjoy your new vehicle!! Fun stuff!! :D My hubby has his heart set on the Chrysler Aspen (SUV) which they quit making - in 2009 or 2010 - but he just loves them! He is always on Craigslist & the auction websites looking for one with low miles! I like them too, so someday there will probably be one in our garage -probably sooner rather than later. Ha ha!

Thanks! Good luck with your search. I know what it's like trying to find the exact vehicle you want. We waited for the one we wanted for a while.

Stay safe out there Star!

It is not whining, I fully understand your aggravation. Just let a few days of the year where the almighty dollar can take a break.

I guarantee we will hear how great the sales are on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and then the retailers will spend all of December whining the sales aren't doing well. When will they get it through their heads People get their shopping done on the doorbusters alone now!!!! Almost all the stores offer the same items at nearly the same price. Christmas shopping is done early, and the retailers whine, because there are no return shoppers for Christmas anymore.

So funny you say this b/c you would not believe how busy my hubby has been at UPS the last 2 weeks! Just crazy!! He has been as busy as the normal week after Thanksgiving!! I told him everyone is going for those door buster/"good as black Friday" sales partly b/c of the short amount of time between Thanksgiving & Christmas!!

Good afternoon, everyone. How are you doing? I'm well. Just relaxing and watching Hallmark. Not much going on this present time, but I've been doing a lot the past couple of hours, so as I said, it's time to relax!

What's your plans for the evening? I don't have much planned. I have cheese-potato soup cooking in the crockpot, so that's what we'll do for dinner on this cold evening. I plan on watching the Hallmark movie that starts at 6, but have to go back to work tonight, so I'll lay down at some point early on this evening.

Well, I am off to read the rest of the boards and spend some time with my family. I hope you're all enjoying your Sunday. I'll stop back later on. Talk to you guys later. God Bless and keep smiling! :hi:

Day 3 Special Post

All I needed to know about Christmas
I learned on MMC:

Celebrate all year long
Sing a Christmas song at least once a day
Play games with others
Laugh together
Pray for each other
Cry when your heart aches
Bake often and share the recipes and pictures
Watch Christmas movies, even in the summer
Take lots of pictures of your furbabies to share
It is ok to say Merry Christmas, happy holidays or Xmas
Say thank you often
Say hello to newcomers
Believe in Santa…and
Never, ever, loose the wonder of everything Christmas

Christmas is coming again, as it does faithfully every year.
It will come no matter what is going on in the world and in our lives.

We together have faced a year of great joys, welcoming new lives into the world and great sorrows in saying goodbye to friends, family members and beloved pets.
Praying, laughing and crying together as we shared those moments in our lives that we just knew others here would understand.

From daily conversations, to those special times of community chats, Christmas in July and greetings on the podcasts. With the ornament exchange and the mailing of Christmas cards, we bring Christmas into each others homes from around the world. Our very own Kringle radio keeps us dancing to Christmas tunes all year long. Of course we cannot forget the main event party of the year, “The Worlds Largest Christmas party”!!! The only one you can attend without the worry of what to wear.

So celebrate the birth of Jesus and the miracle of His coming. Get together with family and friends. Believe in Santa Claus and his magic. Give to those who are not as blessed as you are. Brighten those dark nights with bright lights and beautiful decorations.
Be excited, the Christmas season is about to begin!

I want to print this off & read it every year! Beautifully said CS!!! Another great special post!!!

:give:

You are so sweet, and thanks for wishing us the best for today! Your husband is fortunate to have a lady such as yourself!

Yesterday I was out, and I could tell by the weather winter is on it's way, and sure enough it snowed a bit last night for a couple of hours, nothing lasted, but it was sure great to see it!

While I was out running some errands, I dropped by for a visit to Michael's Arts and Crafts, and sure enough the store was filled to the hilt with decorations! And boy was it busy! I did purchase a couple of 'Sparkling Pine' candles, and some beautiful ribbon, and they have these 'Scentsicles' which I've never seen before, they are scented ornaments! I purchased the 'White Winter Fir' and boy oh boy do they smell just like a pine tree!
I'm going to suspend one from my mirror in my car, with the ribbon I bought, my new car will smell like a pine forest in winter......I'm luv'in it!

Then I wandered over to Walmart, and man that place was so busy....and of course people were buying decorations like crazy....Montrealers luv the holidays and decorate the city to the hilt!
I found for $5.00 'Home Alone 1' and I was so excited, I have 'Home Alone 2', now I have the complete set!
Then I also found 'A Christmas Carol' with George C. Scott for $5.00 bucks, man I was very happy, because Scott does a wonderful job in this version! Then I also purchased a string of mixed coloured lights, 50.
I shall start decorating little bit by little bit sometime next weekend, "if" I can wait that long!

Ok....that's it....that's my update on what I did Saturday, today just going to relax, and start planning my lists for making my yearly Panettones for the holidays!
I hope YOU ALL have a great weekend!
Later.......!

What a great day!!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a warm day here with a high in the mid 50's. Not much going on here. I've been dealing with my niece's this morning and reading through things on here. I'm dealing with a headache and didn't sleep very well so I think a nap is in order this afternoon. I don't know if I will get it though with the Colts playing this morning and then the race later this afternoon. I'll try to catch up some more on here too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are feeling better by now!!!

So yesterday and again this morning my wife said we can decorate for Christmas anytime I'm ready!
She usually wants to wait but this year she has given me carte blanche! Oh the possibilities!

Soooooo - are you decorated yet?????

:wiggy:

That sounds like a January/February forecast!!!!
