Today is Remembrance day in Canada.
I want to take a moment to honor those men and women who served to keep our country free and who continue to serve to protect others.
this is not a utube video so I cannot load it in the regular way here, but it is very well done. It is was taken on the Highway of Heroes (The 401 between Trenton and Toronto) When soldiers die overseas they are brought home via this route and shown the respect they earned by all who are able to attend.

Well said, coach. CM3 is certainly missed. Her kindness and compassion would be well served as we head into the 2013 Christmas Season. We'll never forget her. I'm sure that she is honoured to be remembered in your Special Post, too.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be a dreary day here with a high in the 40's. Then rain will move in this afternoon and switch to snow sometime late tonight. They are saying we may see an inch but that it will melt pretty quick in the morning. Then more snow showers on Wednesday but little to no accumulation. I was pretty lazy last week. So I need to buckle down and get some stuff done this week. Right now though, I am watching November Christmas on Hallmark. It is one of my favorites. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Monday! Huge week ahead! The start of the season is day after tomorrow! I have been enjoying the special post series leading to the season, it really sparks the Christmas spirit.

Good morning everyone!
We head into the final two days before the Christmas Season... But, as always, November 11th serves as an even bigger message. Those of you in the U.S. will be celebrating Veterans Day. And, us in Canada will be celebrating Remembrance Day. With both, we honour those that have fallen in service and are no longer with us. We also thank those who served and returned home from battle.
So, today, I don't feel right talking about the closeness of Christmas. I just want to say thank you to everyone that has served in the name of peace. My grandfather, who past away in 2006, was a veteran of World War II. He did not speak about it much, but I know he was proud to have served and assisted his Canadian comrades in victory. On this day, I remember him and others. The WWII generation is slowing dying, but we always remember the sacrifice and freedom they preserved for us. They put their lives on the line when we needed it most. And, to that, I say thank you. I will always remember.

We are soon eating dinner of their choice (pizza)
and then we are going to the movies to see a Norwegian Christmas movie..
It's a cold day here today..

We are moving december 1st..
So it doesn't look like Christmas here...
And Im feeling a little down because of it...boxes everywhere!
It will be great to move into or new home but I normally
would have lots of Christmas stuff in my home by now...

I understand how you feel about the moving. We moved to our house two weeks before Christmas and it was manic!! I hope you all can get it all done smoothly and quickly.

Good morning! We had a very nice, but yet hectic weekend, looking at houses and trying to sell ours. We got word late Friday night, that a contract came in on our house and then Saturday morning, the realtor called and said we got another one. So, a bidding war commenced on our house (that's a good thing)!
We didn't hear anything from the realtor until late last night, the final offer for our home was more than what we listed it for; (very happy about that). We accepted the offer and signed the contract last night - So, we sold our home, pending passing home inspections....Yea~
We found three houses that we like, two of them, we really love and cannot decide which one we want to make an offer for. So, tonight, we are going to take Zach and Vicki there tonight for the first time to get their points of view. Of course, it boils down to what we like, etc....this is the fun part!
