I have now decided to mop the floors tomorrow!!!!and play wth Kandice today....and also watch Christmas movies!!! much better , better choice

Wayne and I went to Downtown Dallas Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony last night. I told Wayne the way people grumble about Christmas starting so early it might not be as crowded as it has been in the past since they are lighting the tree nearly 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. They usually don't light it that early. Boy, I was wrong! Those people who gripe must be very few and very loud (making us believe there is a lot) because there were thousands of people out in there in the Christmas spirit!
While out there Wayne and I participated in a game with a local radio station. Wayne won and I figured it would be a t-shirt. Nope! They gave us a pair of front row tickets to an upcoming Christmas parade!
Here is a picture of the store front of Neiman Marcus in Downtown Dallas. This picture does not do it justice. The lights twinkle so in the picture it appears that some of the lights are burned out, kinda hard to get the picture with them all lit! It's very impressive walking up on it!

I have been to New York before but never around the holidays. I want to go there again during that time! I also want to go to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! Have you ever been to that?

I would love to catch up on here but it's impossible because of my schedule. Wayne and I had a fun filled day of Christmas festivities yesterday that started at 8:30 am and did not come home until almost 10:00 pm. We were Wild Christmas Party Animals. Ha ha!
It was freezing earlier this week and now will get up in the mid 80's today. I am not too happy about that but it's okay, it will cool down starting tomorrow!

Good morning!
It is going to be cloudy today with a chance of showers, temperatures in the upper 50's.
I still have to walk the dogs, I'm waiting for Maggie to get up. She wanted to go back to bed with my husband. He's still in bed, he was was up all night because his back is hurting. He's working so hard trying to get this house finished. The first time we renovated this house was when we bought it over 20 years ago. I think he forgets he's not in his 20's anymore. This was a lot of work for him to take on by himself!
Not too much going on for me. I wish I could decorate like so many of you are doing. There really isn't any point pulling everything out until my husband finishes. I'm kind of sad but I'm trying to be patient. This is the last time we will be renovating here and I know it will be worth it.
Anyway, the girls are all working so they will be in and out today. I will probably do some Christmas shopping. If I don't go out I will definitely do some shopping online. I made a nice long Christmas gift list to work off of.
