There are still lots if places in this area without power, some schools closed because of it. I have a better view now...

Hydro crews were out removing some siding that was wrapped around the wires

And repairing a light.i am thankful our power is still on.

Monday!!!! Yikes what happened to the weekend already? The real question here is, were you good this weekend? LOL....

It's warm and humid here with spotty showers. A cold front is supposed to roll thru the area later, (I think it may be the one that hit the Midwest yesterday).

Merry Monday Morning! I hope you all had a good weekend. I am very behind on posts so I hope I have not missed anything special or important. The weekend has been hectic. The children are also not very well especially my toddler.

I saw on the news about the bad weather and immediately thought of you guys. I hope everyone is safe and getting through it.

Christmas decorations came down form the loft on Saturday night but I have not started putting anything up yet!

Good morning!
I am heading out in a few minutes. I'm taking my daughter to the doctor, she feels awful and has a sore throat. I want to make sure she doesn't have strep. She is missing hours today for her nursing program and is supposed to start clinical tomorrow. Ugh!

This weekend, I received an e-mail from good our friends, saying they stopped by our house but we weren't home.

(I found this strange because we were home decorating all weekend!)

Then they sent me this pic!

It's of their son, celebrating his 16th birthday with his folks in Vegas =]
They rented a Lamborghini for the day, and drove it to our old house, to take a pic

Surreal to see our house again, and with our WI friends in front of it!

Warm and damp yesterday with some light evening rain.

It was a long, busy weekend, but The Nutcracker Ballet is upon us! Wednesday is a full dress rehearsal, then they have a Friday afternoon mini-presentation for local schools, then Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon shows. I can't wait! This year, the ballet company teamed-up with a local dance supply shop to offer beautiful Christmas ornaments that will be personalized with their names and Nutcracker Ballet 2013. They will be presented as a surprise at the Saturday night show.

Jeff had a post the other day, about people having such an issue with the site, that to help you with it, to send an email to the, editor@mymerrychristmas.com, with your IP address, finding it at a website such as this: http://whatismyipaddress.com/

Sometimes you are being blocked and they will undo this for you. They are doing this to prevent spammers, etc. Hope this helps.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a long, busy weekend, but The Nutcracker Ballet is upon us! Wednesday is a full dress rehearsal, then they have a Friday afternoon mini-presentation for local schools, then Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon shows. I can't wait! This cold front everyone is talking about sure hasn't found its way down south. It's almost 80° at 9:30AM..but it's supposed to get into the 60's tomorrow.

Glad you guys are okay!!!!! There is lots of tree's down here and some stores lost their signs. North of us though, there was a lot of houses and businesses damaged. There was a school that had it's roof ripped off too.
