Camden update: he has an infection and has been put on some very strong antibiotics. He is also taking a bottle now - good appetite! He is a cutie, but so hard to see him hooked up to machines!

Good Morning, MMC!!

How are you today?

I am well. Just having coffee & enjoying a fire and our Christmas tree

We are almost done decorating, we will hopefully be finished with the village by the weekend. We put out 4 tables, and decided to stop there. And maybe rotate pieces each year. Adrian asked me if I'm ever going to stop buying new pieces, lol. My answer was "Hmmmm..." =]

I have been trying to avoid the Home goods area at work, we are getting a truck everyday now, and most of it is Christmas! Yikes! So tempting...

Thinking of you all, and keeping everyone in prayer- for health, safety, and just because you are all dear to my heart.

Oh boy, can I relate to that....For me, It's the outdoor decorations! In particular, Blowmolds; I love them. Here I am, selling my house, packing and all, where you think, the average person would want to get rid of things. Nope, not me, I'm thinking about buying things, LOL...

I saw this Blowmold the other day at the store and It's been on my mind ever since. I want it!!!!! Now, I just have to figure out just how to purchase it and hide it where Lisa cannot see it or find it...:lol: "sneaky, sneaky, sneaky..."

Good morning all. Just wanted to update everyone. Spent the night with mom at the hospice house. She is now unresponsive and getting morphine every 4 hours. I talk to her but I'm not sure she hears.
I'm not meaning to be a downer.I feel blessed to have this time with her.
Thanks again for your prayers & thoughts.

stayed home from work today, sore throat, stuffed head zero energy.
I have all this stuff to do and every time I try I last about 5 min and then have to sit down.So I will spend my day resting lots and hanging out here.

Good morning!
I just got back from walking the dogs, it is so windy out there!
My daughter felt awful this morning but she started clinical today and had to be at the hospital bright and early. Then she has to work this afternoon in to this evening. I'm praying she doesn't have too much written homework to do on top of everything. I feel bad for her, I hate when they're sick!
I am just finishing up a cup of coffee and then I'm heading out. The dogs have a groomer appointment in a little while. I feel like I was just there, the past month went by so fast! I also need to run to the supermarket and Target. Then back home to get my chores done.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Hope she feels better soon! Hope her first day of clinical went well!

:lol: Sugar!! He decided to go to the HS game! I was really surprised! The Buckeye tickets were in the nose bleed section & he had someone else that wanted them. We have an engagement party Friday night & my hubby's Dads side family Thanksgiving is on Sunday for lunch so guess he thought the weekend was busy enough! It's a 4 hour round trip drive to Cbus, so... Bummer!

Sounds like you guys will still be having a really fun weekend! Have a great time!

Praying for your mother, mgramsey, you, and your entire family. Keep talking to her - we always tell our families that, as I always talk with my patients until the last moments. They say that's one of the last things that goes. God Bless. Thanks for the update.

Getting very excited for Thanksgiving! Headed to Palm Springs, California a week from tonight to spend the holiday with my family from Minnesota who I rarely see. My grandma in Minnesota has a second house in Palm Springs that I haven't been to in years, so it will be nice to be back.

LittleCS is working on her gingerbread log cabin and it is looking great!
My covered bridge fell apart yesterday when I foolishly decided to turn it over. Nothing broke, just came apart. So I will have to scrape off all that icing and put it back together again. sigh Oh well, repair work in decorating cakes ect happens often, it is to be expected.

So I will spend my day resting lots and hanging out here.

I never knew what a job it is to remodel just one kitchen/den area of a house! The concrete contractor came over yesterday just as we got back into town from Madera. We attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for our nephew. It was awesome!!! Made, Brad, and Coach (I think) are among those ranks of Eagle Scouts!!!

How cool! I bet it meant a lot to your nephew having you there!!

Hope all is going well with the remodel, friend.

I got that card too!! (cept from my local Hallmark) But that wasn't my 1st - my 1st one was from the Salvation Army!! Both were very cool cards!!! ENJOY! Have a great day!

I just think that is top notch! I never got one in Vegas.

Good morning MMC! Time is going so fast! I'm still in disbelief that Thanksgiving is NEXT week! And T-day is late this year! It's crazy!

Not much going on around here today. Last night I tried to make a cornucopia - it has a little to be desired but I'm going to use it anyway. I'm planning to fill it with cheese chunks & maybe some grapes?



I stuck it in the freezer - says to keep the aluminum foil inside to hold the shape. So I will pull it out next week & see how it held up. The recipe says to fill it with cheese (or whatever you prefer) 1 day & the next day you can fill it with spinach dip & use the bread for dipping! Hmmm....

Hope you are all having a great day!!! I'm ready to get home from work & start crossing off my "to do" list for Thanksgiving!

Congrats to your nephew! I am sure you're so proud! My brother is an Eagle Scout and when he made his, that was one my proudest moments for him.
