And … my Christmas cactus has more buds on it than I've ever seen! It's going to be spectacular when they bloom!

Thanks buddy!!!!! It was a pretty good party. Some family, friends, and two very bad nieces!!!

The wind is blowing you around pretty good on the roads but I made it home okay!!

LOL!!!!! Okay, I'll use paper. Do you have one of those little wrapping paper cutter things to use instead of scissors? If not, I'll bring mine.

We do. I hate that thing though. DH always uses that and I still use my scissors.

Hello Christmas buddies! First off let me tell yall I have missed being around here, I think about you all everyday. I can't tell you how many times I have started to log on and joining in on the fun, but as you all can imagine the last month and a half has been hard since the suicide of my mother. Also it's snowing!!! I mean a lot!! Last weekend we had about 4 inches of wet snow but it melted after 2 days because the temps were just too warm, but we got some more last night and it is still on the ground. Honestly I have not watched the weather in a few days(see I am even not checking on the weather!!!)lol I hope to return to normal and I am trying so hard so I plan on being around here so much more...this is the website afterall that helped me the Christmas of 2010 when I joined fresh after a bitter divorce that eneded up being the very best Christmas I had since 2002! Well I better go I felt I needed to get that off my chest so yall did not think I was forgetting about yall because you indeed are never far from my heart!

Today is the next to the last football game for the Ga bull dawgs! We play UK tonight! This was the game me and my wife always went to whether it was in Lexington,Ky or Athens,Ga . I will be watching for sure though on the tube! Have a wonderful Weekend everyone I will try to be here so much more now!!!

Good evening!
It's been a long day, I'm exhausted. My daughter has had a great birthday so far but it's not over yet. The girls and a bunch of their friends took a train in to the city a little while ago. I wish I had their energy, I don't know how they keep going. It will be a really late night for them. I'm going to lay down and try to sleep. But I'm sure I'll be tossing and turning until I know they are all back home safe and sound!

The Nutcracker was beautiful! Elizabeth has three parts: a rat in the battle scene, the head of the Chinese dragon, and a snowflake in the snow scene. I have to say, I'm not easily brought to tears, but seeing her dancing in the snow scene made my eyes well up with tears. She was so beautiful!

We have another show tonight, and an afternoon show tomorrow.
