Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning everyone and a happy Sunday to you all. My wife and I are heading out for some orange mochas and a plunder round a few shops. There may be a detour to a Christmas shop

Thanks Snowflake. I was worried. I'm so thankful for cell phones, lol. At least I could keep in touch with them. We didn't have cell phones when I was a teenager, parents must have been sick from worrying!
Does Harlowe mind the cold temperatures? Molly and Maggie do not like it this cold. I won't be walking them today. I have to bundle them up just to get them to go out in the back yard for a couple of minutes.
Enjoy the snow! We had some flurries last night, it's so pretty.

She loves winter & snow, but even last night was too much for her. We got about half of her walk in, and she wanted to turn back. I think her paws were giving her trouble- I know I couldn't feel my fingers!

She's still coughing off and on. She isn't worse so I haven't gone back to the veterinarian yet. The last couple of times she was on medicine it didn't really seem to make a difference. CAH suggested that I buy her a cool mist humidifier and run it at night. I have been doing it and I swear she's coughing a bit less!

That is good to hear, glad it's helping her!

Good morning!
The temperatures have dropped significantly here on Long Island and it is bitter cold out there. The strong winds are not helping either. There were all kinds of delays on the railroad last night which made it difficult for the kids to get home from the city. My middle daughter decided to leave earlier than her older sister because she still isn't feeling well after being sick all last week. So she headed home with one of her guy friends and got in about 3:00 in the morning. My oldest didn't get in until 8:00 a.m.!!! What a nightmare. I can't even get mad, it really wasn't there fault. I'm just happy everyone is home now. These teenage years are going to be the death of me.
Anyway, not too much going on for me today. Unfortunately the girls have to go out in this brutal weather and head to work later this afternoon. My husband will be working in the house. I would like to Christmas shop but I may just stay in and see if I can get some done online.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

When I first got Molly I bought her winter boots to wear in the snow but she refused to walk in them!

So sweet!

Har would do the same. Can't even get her to walk w/ her coat on.

Hi Christmas friends! We cut down our tree yesterday, yay! One of our cats knocked it down and broke my first Christmas ornament Oh well, what can you do? What a mess cleaning that up at 10pm!
