Well the snow came but we actually got more ice than snow. I'm wanting my office to be closed in the morning but we will see. I'm not holding out hope.

The wind is still howling out there. We just stayed in today and rustled up some lunch in the kitchen. (Mr. baked some chocolate chip cookies from pre-packaged cookie dough for dessert.) I had a nasty headache when I got home from my shopping, so I've been taking it easy this afternoon watching History Channel Christmas programs on DVD, and Garfield's Thanksgiving special. Mr. has been getting numerous packages of gifts ready for mailing. I'll be working on mine next weekend. It's so nice to be indoors and cozy when the cold wind is howling outside. (I only hope it doesn't blow down the lights and decorations I put out yesterday.)

Dishes are done so I have the rest of the evening to putter around the house - yay! It is going to feel like it is 3 degrees out tonight - so glad there is not much wind!

Well I decided to stick with the tree I had even though I hated it. I found a few I like, but they are all white lights. I want multi. So I'll have to think about it. Maybe I'll get one after Christmas and switch the 500 bulbs out. For now though, my old tree is up and decorated. Now I'm watching the Grinch!!!

Palmer is helping me with the Christmas cards this year - glitter is now everywhere (and only three cards had glitter and they were at the bottom of the pile!). :lol:

Hardly any sleep last night, very busy day at work, so I am going up to loose myself in book before going to sleep. Have to be at work tomorrow by 8am.
