Phew! What a day!!

We have awesome buttons that we are wearing at work for the season! They read: MERRY CHRISTMAS, Feliz Navidad, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa!! Love it!!

I am looking forward to having the weekend off. Lots of Christmassy things planned!

Good evening,

Yes, I am still awake.

The tree is up and decorated, it's beautiful. It took me nearly 6 hours from bringing it upstairs, to hanging the last ornament. I am exhausted and I work in the morning.

Thanksgiving feast yesterday. Oyster roast today. Fridge stocked with leftovers. My waistline is suffering.

We are excited too! I bought this book to help with teaching the kids about Advent.

Hey friend!

It actually went better than I expected. We were staffed well, and I was an FEC most of the morning- talking to customers, and getting some feedback. I also kept them busy while in line, and let them know when we were ready for them. It keeps the line moving fast. There's always a few grumpy people, and so I would stop and to rescue the cashiers. But we had plenty of people there so that was good! Thanks for asking!

We did some Christmas shopping and the kids are already going crazy trying to peak at their presents! I know they're excited but if they keep this up I may need to ship the kids up north to stay with their "long lost Aunt Snowflake" until the Big Day. they're going to drive me crazy!!!

The girls are opening tomorrow so I will be waking up early with them. Two of them aren't even out of work yet. I really can't wait for this weekend to end. I hate to be a party pooper but the shifts they are getting are out of control.

Garth is from here so he is pretty big in Oklahoma. It is bringing back memories of high school. If there was a big ol' line dance to Friends in Low Places at your senior prom, you might be a redneck.
