Having our 2nd Christmas at my mom and dad's now. This is the little tree that we bought for them. My mom found a way to make it look like something grand as always. LOL

Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

No post-Christmas blues here, either! Only 9 months to go till the 'Bers start, 11 months to go till the season, and 364 days to go till the big day! I'm counting on Crown to lead the way.

We had a great Christmas, and I finally got the Superman movie. I just made the girls watch it with me & Jacob. They agreed it was pretty good, but said there were too many explosions. Huh?!? There can never be too many explosions! And the score was tremendous! That music makes me want to go out & save the world, too!

I took the remainder of the week off from work. unlike Xmastidings, I've accrued all of the vacation hours I can bank, so I have to use some time, or it won't accrue any more. We're going back to my mom's for supper tonight, then I think we're going to see Frozen tomorrow.

Hello everyone. Well, the tree is down already. We always use the week between Christmas and New Years to clean the house and the Mrs. wanted the decorations up so we could start organizing.

I haven't gone to any stores...I always get a little down when I see the Christmas decorations being marked down and moved to clearance. But I actually don't have the blues too bad yet. It was about sixty degrees here which made me think of spring. When I think about warmer weather, I think about heading west on summer trips...so my desire to go west kept the blues off my mind today, if that makes any sense.

Hello everyone. Well, the tree is down already. We always use the week between Christmas to clean the house and the Mrs. wanted the decorations up so we could start organizing.

How was your day?

Work was busy, as expected. Lots of returns and we are in initials so everything has to be checked for markdowns as well. Thank God they put another manager with me, we needed all the help we could get.

I just sat down to relax- watching a concert that I recorded off of PBS called Christmas At Belmont. It's so beautiful! Trying my darnedest not to be sad, but can't help it. So grateful that I have you all to countdown with everyday

I have a couple of Christmas gifts that need to be returned to the mall but I decided to wait a few days. I didn't have the strength to go today, I'm sure it was crowded. I went out but I stayed local and it wasn't too bad.
