Hello everyone and happy Friday!!! I hope everyone is doing well. As I always say, I never intend to stay away from the forums as long as I do, time just seems to slip away, then I realize it's been several weeks since I came in here. I hope everybody has a great Friday and weekend!!!!:hi:

It's so nice to see you and one of my favorite signatures back again.

Hello Christmas friends.

We met parents for dinner tonight. Then we went to my wife's grandpas house and stayed. He hasn't woken up all day and hospice is saying it could be any time. I took his dog for a walk. He's a sweet dog! Bless his little heart, he doesn't understand.

I hope you all have a great night and weekend!

So sorry to hear. Prayers are with you all.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth's show was WONDERFUL! I don't think I'm wrong when I say that she is the prettiest girl on the stage, and the best dancer, too! I wish I could take pictures in the theater so I could show y'all, but you'll just have to take my word for it.

She has shows tonight, tomorrow night and a Sunday matinee.

We got home about midnight last night, and the only coffee I have here at work is decaf. Maybe if I drink 3 pots of that, I'll get a little jolt, eh?

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Glad to hear her show was great, you have plenty to be proud of.

Yea....me too!!! My wife thinks I'm goofy; Yuk-yuk-yuk.....

My husband joins me! Of course, he is a member here on these forums too if that tells you anything! I am just on here more than him.

I can watch Christmas movies all year long as well. I never grow tired of them~:gift:
We are watching Christmas with the Kranks right now! =)

This week I watched a movie I've never seen before and I'm trying to figure out if it's a Christmas movie or not. It's called "3 Godfathers" and it has John Wayne leading a trio of outlaws running from a posse. They are in the desert and come across a woman whose husband died and she is giving birth. The mother dies and the three agree to take the baby. They use the mom's Bible as a guide to take the baby to the nearest town that happens to be called New Jerusalem. Anyway, it takes place on Christmas and the holiday plays a central role in the plot. We even hear a Christmas carol or two. But instead of quaint snowy villages it takes place in the badlands of Arizona. It's a really good movie!

I never heard of it but sounds like a good movie! I bet my dad has seen it or probably has it! He likes John Wayne. I will ask him about it tomorrow.

Yes, he's been neutered. I thought he would calm down after that but it had no effect on him! I'm happy to hear that they eventually calm down. He's our 4th cat, the others weren't this wild!

Give him time, he will calm down.
The funny thing about our wildest ones is that they are also the most loving ones. Sidney, who I swear was born with a few screws loose, is the most loyal loving cat I have ever seen. He is almost like a puppy to JP, follows him everywhere, the first to comfort him when he is feeling sad, and the first to greet him at the door when he gets home. He has another gear when it come to wild, he has literally climbed the walls!

I am the same way! Adrian always jokes w/ me & asks why I need to watch Christmas movies on tv when I have them on DVD :)

It makes us Christmas nuts feel better when we don't have to put something on that makes us happy.

Continuing to be in my thoughts, friend.

Good evening,

I am feeling somewhat better today than the last few days, but it was still a long day at work. We got a lot done there today. It was nice to not have a game to watch tonight, but next week starts the playoffs for hockey, and I am hoping for 2 more months of games for my beloved Bruins.

Morning will be here too soon, so I must get ready for my trip to the Land of Nod.

Good night, everyone.

Good Morning, Weary Wandering Weekend Wearwolves.
(OK, OK! So I'm running out of alliterative ideas.)

But I'm not running out of enthusiasm for the count numbers, as they decline steadily on a daily basis:
Days to the Season: 215
Days to Christmas Day: 257

The 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone -- two weeks from today.
The 200-day Season Window -- two weeks from tomorrow.
Two big markers closing in on us.
(It doesn't get much better than that, Guys!)

Great day here yesterday.
Highs in the 70's. Calm winds. Lots of sun. No rain. Low humidity.
Fantastic!
I could get real used to this! (Always a bad idea around here.)
Right now, we are at 59 degrees here in this sector of the good old US of A.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
And a Wonderous Weekend, too.

Crazy cat!!!

Ours seem to be getting more energy as spring is springing. You could always try the spray bottle method, if anything it may keep him away from your room that early, or maybe he'll try harder to wake you up because you ticked him off. cheesy Cats can be vengeful animals. cheesy

The spray bottle is a good idea. He didn't try and wake me this morning. My oldest left her bedroom door open last night and I found him in there bothering her, lol.
