Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth is finally feeling better, and she went to school this morning. She and Jacob were both chosen to represent their grades at the regional spelling bee that was orginally scheduled for today, but the threat of bad weather forced them to re-scedule for next week. The weather isn't as bad as we feared, and this gives her a chance to get better (and catch up on missed school work) before the bee. I'm really proud of them both for being selected out of everyone in their grades!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Congrats to Jacob & Elizabeth!
So happy to hear Elizabeth is feeling better!
Have a nice day Brad!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a cooler day here with a high in the low 60's and more rain. I still have a few more things I need to get done before I leave tomorrow night. So that's my first priority today. Then I'm going to run to the grocery store and maybe a few other places. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Good luck getting everything done! Have a great day Made!

Good morning MMC! It's a dreary morning, but the temps are great & no rain! I think the weather is supposed to improve as the day goes on ~ bring on the sunshine!!!
The movie was excellent last night. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very entertaining! No wonder I was hearing such great things about it!
I got the lawn mowed before the movie. It really was too wet, but it's done - for a couple days. Lol!

Wishing you all a HAPPY Hump Day/Pines Day!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie last night!
Hope the weather improves for you, have a wonderful day!

Thanks! We did enjoy the movie & the severe storms did miss us, but we did have some thunder/lightening = Gracie's 1st storm & she did NOT like it! I felt bad leaving her for the movie. Poor girl. Thankfully we only had a few rumbles of thunder.

Molly & Maggie do not like thunder storms either. Maggie burrows under her blanky. And Molly runs around the house in circles, she doesn't know what to do with herself! Poor things!

In the 40s and wet here---we don't have the wind, though.
Still, I agree that it's a perfect day to stay in bed! But I'm at the office awaiting a couple of heavy copy decks.

I heard it's supposed to be much warmer here tomorrow, almost 70 degrees. But more rain!
I hope you're having a good day at work!

Thinking happy thoughts for everyone. Even though I don't reply to everyone individually, you're all VIPs in my book. The day isn't complete without reading your posts ... however quickly!

Expecting a heavy day at the office. And waiting to find out what the bottom line is going to be on some plumbing repairs ... :(

Good luck with the plumbing repairs!
xx

Great job HMG!!! Congrats!!! I have been doing a lot of walking - 75 miles in April so far - hopefully can get another 4-5 tonight to end at 80'ish! I was aiming for 100 miles. I did get over 100 miles if I can include bike riding! Hope you have a great day. Good luck with the dumbbell's!

Thank you!
That is a lot of walking! Good for you, that is awesome!

Still raining outside.....Blahhhhhhhhh~

Today will be a good day to head to the Pines....Hot Tub maybe????

It's so chilly out, a dip in the hot tub sounds perfect!

I'll be giving those antics a miss tonight. I have had enough wet weather to satisfy any want for water themed fun! Can I suggest to Carl that we have a Hawaiian theme sometime!

I second the Hawaiian theme! Aloha shirts, shave ice, and loco moco! I can bring some music!

Thank you!
Definitely sticker shock on the plumbing repairs. :o
But we politely declined to buy a full-house water filtration system and water softener to the tune of more than $5K. I can get by with a Brita filter and slightly hard water.

Awe! What sweet babies! Gracie was in her cage at the 1st loud rumble of thunder, I thought she was going to bust through the door! Poor girl!! Hopefully she will get use to them ~ well, hopefully we don't have THAT many of them!

Thank you!

Thanks! Going for 100 in May! :-x

It is SO nice outside now. I did not want to come back to work after lunch! I walked Gracie around her fence area ~ She went past the flag once & it started beeping & she was back inside in no time flat! Of course after that she wanted to hang out under the patio table! Her "safe spot" in the shade.
