Good morning!
We had storms pass through last night but it has cleared up and is going to be a nice day. We will have plenty of sunshine today with temperatures around 70 degrees.
I plan on going food shopping soon, I want to go early and get it over with. Then back home to work on some daily chores. I also have some more shopping to do later this afternoon. And I'm going to go for a long walk at some point. I'm mad at myself because I wasn't good about keeping up with the exercise this past week. I need to pull myself together and get back on track.

Thanks, will do!! It is chilly, but sunny & calm outside, so it doesn't feel so bad! I have a blanket wrapped around me, and a Christmas cup of coffee beside me.

I was just talking to my neighbor, and we were talking about it snowing 12.5 inches last May, so when I get frustrated I need to count my blessings! Ha!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've been up for a couple hours, but the rest of my family has been worn down from all this running. About 7:15 this morning I heard this loud machine running, then even more noise. I went outside and found a tree trimming service cutting a neighbor's tree up and grinding it...in the middle of town at 7:15 on Saturday morning!

I don't like passing ordinances. I think most folks can govern themselves, and they elect me to help them instead of govern them. But that's a bit ridiculous. I don't think Mrs. Martha Jo asked the guys to show up that early. I'm sure they just wanted to get an early jump on the day's work, but that's too early on a Saturday in the middle of town. I won't even start the lawn mower before 10am out of respect for the neighbors. Grrr.

I went outside and gave them the stink-eye...LOL.

I hope y'all have a more uneventful morning than I've already had! cheesy

Good afternoon, Brad! Sorry to hear about the tree service this morning. I know I'll get home from work around 8-8:15 in the morning and people who use a lawn service around my house, will around be working. I think to myself, "that's ridiculous", but I guess they need to get a move on it. A lot of times, I am so tired, I end up falling a sleep right way, but some mornings, it keeps me up and makes me so mad! Hope it didn't go on too long!

I didn't make it on here yesterday so I am way behind!

Just got up and having coffee while watching the birds out the window at the bird feeders. Niles in in my lap, Meca and Maris laying next to me and they are watching the birds as well!

Wayne and I haven't decided what to do today. We should be doing something constructive but we might just get out and do something fun instead! Maybe we will do both! =) I guess we will decide after breakfast.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high in the 60's and it looks like the rain has already moved out for the day. I have some errands to run this morning and then it will be back home to watch coverage from out at the track. This will be the third year in a row that I haven't went out to the track at all during the month of may. I'm slacking. Next year I will definitely have to go. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

my herbs are in hanging baskets, I brought them all inside for now. I had to put them in these to keep the rabbits from eating them.

The night wasn't too bad tonight. JP's baseball game was postponed due to rain. We needed that, it has been non stop here the last couple weeks. We took the boys out for ice cream tonight, we got our ice cream and the owner comes out and gives me a speech about how during opening weekend they were very busy and they ran out of the bread they usually use and made the sandwich for 3 customers on supermarket bread. He hands me a sandwich and apologized for that since I was one of the three who got the wrong bread. I never noticed, the sandwich was great, but he felt he gave me a less than stellar product and gave me a free one. That is great customer service, and now I have my favorite sandwich for lunch tomorrow.

Back to work in the morning, still waiting for news on the new car, hopefully we will get word tomorrow or Sunday.

Hello all. Thank you so much for the prayers, support, and well wishes.

We had a wonderful party last night and surprisingly the mood was not somber. It was kind of like a reunion as a bunch of family showed up. Dad loved seeing everyone and it was a great time. He is so young, just turning 57 yesterday. He had a good birthday, considering the circumstances.

I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm behind in the posts but hope things are going well for you all. Y'all are the best!

It was a sunny day out until about a half hour ago. The wind picked up and it got chilly in the house so I turned the furnace up a bit. Nice and toasty in here now!

I've been working on a project for the store today ~ interesting research, but slow-going. At least I am busy! cheesy
