Good evening,
It is late, just watched the LA Kings advance to the Stanley Cup Final, I know Brent is happy about that. I caught the last half of the game, very exciting finish in sudden death overtime.
I am finally caught up today, every time I came here today I had to stop and do something else. cheesy
As of this moment I am leaning towards staying home another day to rest my foot some more, it is still in a bit of pain, so if it isn't better I will rest tomorrow and then Tuesday is another off day so I am hoping that will do the trick.
Today is the third anniversary of the tornado that ripped through town, the scars are still all around us, almost everything has been rebuilt, but the forest canopy is and will be missing for some years to come on a stretch of town.
Here is probably the best video of the tornado.

I hope you all had a good day.
Good night, everyone.
Last night we slept with the windows open. Because of my medication, I do not sleep well. I was in the front room in the recliner and heard someone walking outside. It was about 2:30 in the morning (Sunday). By that time, I was wide awake and petrified! I listened for the longest time, almost holding my breath, afraid to breathe. I think I finally fell asleep around 3:45 a.m. After we got up (about 6:30), I could hear loud music coming from a PA system. I told my husband about someone walking around during the night. He said it must have been Kane, my oldest son who is staying in our travel trailer and is helping with the construction on the kitchen. He had gotten up at 2:30 in the morning to go down to the high school track field to walk in my honor at the Relay for Life! I was so proud, even if he did scare me! Our little town of about 6000 people raised over $75,000 for the cancer drive!
Merry Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend and all ready for the new week ahead. Weekends go by way to quickly especially when you work part of it . I hope I have not missed any big news.
Anyway I am just popping in quickly. My youngest has a screening today at the Children's hospital. It is a routine visit and I expect it to go well. It was suggested at our last appointment so we can rule out certain things.
I'll pop in later. Have a pleasant day everyone !
xx
