We are getting cooler temps as a result so it should be a pleasant week here.

Lovely way to start the day!

I'm sitting by an open window listening to the birds and a cricket that has taken up residence in the spirea bush under said window. I must say that it feels and sounds like fall today! Love it!!!

Well, it's all over. Buster is in heaven! It totally stinks but it's a relief he's not suffering anymore. I was ok last night til my hubby walks in & he's a mess! WTH?! Then we were both a bawley mess! Oh my Buster boy!

I am so very sorry. Talk about Buster here as much as want and whenever you want. We all love hearing about him and maybe you will find a little comfort in doing so. ((((Hugs))) My heart goes out to you all.xxx

She still laughs at me for asking for a globe for Christmas one year when I was a kid. I'm her odd child!

Can't wait to leave on Friday night for a week of camping with my family. Too bad my in-laws invited themselves to come with us...

I have to head for work soon, I am still planning on going at this point. I have my foot wrapped, and I am hoping my foot won't hurt too much tonight after my shift. We will see.

I just finished watching "Arthur Christmas," and now I am watching the South Park movie, can't get more opposite than that.

I leave in about an hour for work. Booo!

Praying all goes well!

My sister got to the office this morning to discover that we had been broken into last night. Fortunately, something spooked the robbers and all they got was 20 dollars that was in petty cash. They could have gotten our 3 new laptops, printers, fax, scanner, copier, and myriad drug samples, but like I said, something scared them off. We have a metal door, which they actually BENT, and our heavy inner door (made of wood) was cracked and broken so that they could get past the deadbolt. Not sure what scared them off, but we're glad it wasn't any worse. The policeman that came was very sympathetic, and the crime scene worker was very thorough and helpful. She suggested several things to look for that we hadn't thought of (all of which were unbothered, thank goodness.), and we all had our fingerprints taken. So, now we're sitting around waiting for the Installer of Doors to show up, along with the Providers of ADT (which we are now going to have). I know it seems silly that we didn't have it before this, but honestly I've been working for this Dr. for 21 years now, and we've never had this sort of problem before. I guess times getting harder is affecting everyone.

How scary! I'm glad no one was hurt!

Also when I got back from lunch there was a candy bouquet on my desk from our friends, & a beautiful bouquet from our lake neighbors. So sweet!

He sounds wonderful! Growing up I shared a room with my sister Sheree. She bought a parakeet from Woolworth's and had her for years. Sammy only learned to say our names, but she combined them into "Shmary" ~ it was so cute!

That's too cute!
We found a parakeet in our back yard about 10 years ago. He was adorable and so much fun. He use to say "pretty bird" over and over. But we eventually found the owner, my kids were heartbroken when he left. We were going to get the girls their own bird but we ended up getting Maggie instead!

home from work, had supper, cleaned up, worked on my course for about 3 hours. Got to the "congratulations you have finished part one, you are now ready to take the test! " all I could think was NO! I am not!! There was so much info I need to read it all again first.

So now I am going to relax and head over to the pines to see what is going on there.

Okay, I tried some of Carl's hay and I have to say, I don't recommend it. LOL!!!

Since I tried it though, he said he would reward me with a meal of my choice from the kitchen. I told him I just wanted a burger. I wasn't expecting this!!!!



He says if I finish before the night is over, I'll get free fired twinkies for the rest of the summer.

Somebody better call an ambulance!!!!
