I feel like I've been neglecting you all. The days have been full and I've been skimming through the posts and not responding much, but you're all in my thoughts. I'll try to do better when I get home!

Ha! That's funny! Not to out-do you guys here, but I have a better one.

I once woke up late , on a beautiful Saturday morning, I was sitting on the couch, watching the news, sipping on my coffee when the phone rang. I picked it up and it was my boss on the phone asking me if I was sick??? I said no, I'm just sitting here drinking a cup of coffee, he asked me if I was coming to work sometime today. I said no, I wasn't planning on working this weekend, he said that's fine, but today is Friday and your 3 hours late.....already!

Needless to say, I believe I uttered something like "Oh sheep"!!!!!! Now, that is a true story and I did not get fired either but I was in the bosses dog house for a little while after that episode.....:lol:

Good morning Mmc!! This is my very 1st post using tapatalk!! :) Hubby & I are on vaca this week! Awesome! The festival was lots of fun this weekend! Big crowds again! Tired this morning! I'm sitting in my recliner watching the hallmark channel & seeing all the ads for the upcoming Christmas in July movies is making me really excited!

Dad came home from the hospital friday & he's doing well! xx I will go see him later on!

Our contractors are supposed to start on our addition this week but no sign of them so far!

That's all I got this morning -now I'm going to read some posts! Have a great day!!!

Hey everyone!!! Hope everyone has been enjoying their summer so far. I am starting to now that little league is over and I have my evenings and weekends back. Even though my calendar is full with events like cookouts, birthday parties and trips to the shore my thought are now starting to drift towards Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas. I am going to try to take advantage of Christmas in July to plan for the upcoming holidays and maybe test out a few new recipes.

Over the weekend we stopped in the Yankee Candle store and they were having their semi clearance sale ... stocked up on a lot of tarts ... mostly Christmas and winter scents. Just need to get a few more fall ones like apples & cinnamon and spiced pumpkin and then I will be set for the upcoming holiday season.
