My brother just brought me a Mocha Frappe ~ yum! We had quite the rain storm last night so good for the gardens! My squash seeds finally sprouted, I just don't know which ones sprouted as I planted several different kinds when the first batch did not take. Oh, well. I love surprises! cheesy

It was great meeting you two today at Amy's Hallmark in Sachse, TX! I had a blast, as you can imagine. After you two left, a man who had been in earlier picking up his annual order of ornaments came back in with his granddaughter. I think I got maybe 6 hugs out of her before they left.

Santa, welcome to the Countdown! Aw, how sweet that his granddaughter got to meet you ~ what a great memory for her! I'm very happy that CAH and SIT were able to meet you, too ~ great story! I hope you are able to visit us here more!

I chose three of the new series. Kringle and Kris and Tis the seasoning, they're both really cute. And Big Top Bear, this series will all be metal ornaments inspired by antique tin toys. I had a hard time deciding but I'll go back when I can and hopefully keep chipping away at my wish list!

Good morning! I'm sticking to my commitment to come on here more often now so good for me. ^^ I can't believe that you guys already have first signs of Christmas appearing. It seems weird to me but I guess Americans really love Holiday seasons to be getting ready for it since July. :] I don't mind though 'cause pictures you share make me excited too. ^^

I'm thinking of walking up the city center today. I checked the games merchandise store at the central station yesterday and got some ideas for presents for my friend and cousins so I'm thinking of going there again today and buy some things. And maybe stop at the coffee shop after that, grab some coffee and read a book.

Another sunny summer day! I'm loving it!

I also got a nice Christmas in July surprise. Mr. went out to dinner with a couple of his high school friends yesterday, and the one who lives locally gave him a late Christmas gift. (We usually drop by his house and exchange gifts at Christmastime, but wasn't able to connect last season.) The bag included a box of Walkers Shortbread (yum!) in Christmas shapes. I can't save it for Christmas because it expires in November, so I have to eat it now (awwww! :wink: ). There's also a covered mug in the shape of a Scottie dog; and its head is the lid. It's cute as anything. So my next snack will probably be tea and Christmas shortbread! Better yet, Christmas tea and Christmas shortbread. I know I still have some Christmas tea.
