It's the 2/3 Season Milestone.
Hey! That means we are entering the final third of our journey.
And.....now you better hold on to your mistletoe for this.....just look how close we are to double digits to the Season!

The numbers:
Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164


Still the humidity and the heat but it hasn't been too bad for July.
At least we have had no precipitation.
Today may be our last clear one, however, as rain is supposed to make a comeback tomorrow.
We show 78 degrees here, currently.

I got the DVR going and recording Sounds of the Seasons so I will have it to continue listening to after it's over. =)

Great plan!!!

My plans were to stay home and get a lot done today but my dad called and wanted me to ride with him to run some errands. Honestly I was not in the least bit interested in going at first but then thought, this is my dad wanting to hang out with his daughter and he asked me for his company. Does it really matter what we do? It's quality time with dad! So I will go with him to take care of some errands. My housework will be waiting on me when I return.

My son-in-law and daughter will be here hanging out with my son while we are gone. Going to put them to work! Yay!

Enjoying Sounds of the Season until I leave!

I was going to tell you to enjoy the candle & the music & the AC, but instead - enjoy the day with Dad!!! Have fun!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I don't feel a day over 50!! LOL A couple of my friends called and said "I can't believe you're fifty!", like it's a bad thing. Shoot, after a close call a couple years ago, I'm proud to see each birthday. Thank you, Lord!

This'll be the busiest two weeks of the summer. Elizabeth has signed up for a two-week intensive dance camp, in addition to her regular dance class AND play practice. So she had to be at dance camp from 9am till 2pm, then play practice from 5pm till 9pm. That 3 hour gap means another trip to Statesboro, because they are not in the same place. For two weeks! And Jacob's schedule over there increases starting this week since he got a place in the band that his instructor sponsors.

I'll need a second home in Statesboro soon, I'm afraid.

Good morning. We have one last day of the 90s this week then we drop into the 70s! That is almost unheard of in Oklahoma but I'm not complaining!

Good morning MMC! We have an overcast day today with a chance of rain later! Contractors showed up this morning with forms, so hopefully we'll have walls poured today! Getting excited!!! We moved our bedroom upstairs last night - was odd sleeping in a different room. Almost felt like I was on vacation. HA! We had another nice weekend at the lake. Bonfires were awesome for the chilly nights! Saturday we put 20 miles on our bicycles. Yesterday morning we got a 7 mile ride in & then we went back to our trailer (2 other girls & I) so we could do a practice run on Egg Nog for Christmas in July. It was delicious!!!! And here we are - back to Monday already! One day closer to Friday, right? :lol: Hope you all had a great weekend & on to a great Monday!!

I just checked & we get Music Choice here at work. Problem is, the boys would have a fit if they walked in here & heard Christmas music - in July. :lol: I'm sure I get it at home too though, so I'll have to check into it at lunch!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a humid stormy day here with a high in the mid 80's. Then the cool down arrives tomorrow with a high of 71!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!! They are back to working on our building this morning to get it ready for painting. The had the saws going at 8am. So much for sleeping in some. LOL!!! Not much going on here today. Just need to do some cleaning and some work here on the computer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was good. I helped my sister pack everything for her vacation to Austria. She's traveling alone for the first time and I hope she gets there well.

Morning! It's cloudy here today and it looks like raining which ruined my plans of going to the botanic gardens. It's not nice walking around the gardens unless you're in the greenhouse. Anyway, I hope to go there tomorrow because forecast doesn't say anything about rain then.

I checked there is a 'Yankee Candle' store in the fancy shopping center next to the bus station. I might go there and see if there are any good deals on the candles. Again, my cousin has been wanting to try them for ages and since prices of 'Yankee Candles' are over the top in Lithuania, it would be nice to have a little sale here or something. I will see how it goes.

The Countdown is looking great, Crown!

Trackrebel is thrilled about Germany's win! She sent me some video of her family in the streets celebrating. I must admit I am happy too since my grandfather is from there which means I have a lot of family that live there! Congratulations, Trackrebel!

It's going to be in the triple digits today then drop down to the lower 90's and upper 80's the rest of the week. Today's plan: crank up the AC, burn my pumpkin candle, listen to Sounds of the Season Christmas in July music and get some chores done! My grandkids will not be here today so I have a chance to get things done around here. Oh yeah, and stop in for a visit on here throughout the day!
