I love the colors. Whish I was smart enough to knit.

The stocking and afghan are crochet, which is very easy to learn. YouTube has tons of video lessons, and MMC has crocheters who can help you and give you advice. Try it! After one or two video lessons you can crochet a scarf. Scarves are great practice pieces.

By the way - Miss Gracie got 2 baths last night within 2 hours!! She LOVES the mud!!!! This picture is before her 2nd bath! It doesn't show how dirty she REALLY was. :lol: Little booger!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

50 years plus 1 day, and still going strong! LOL

The office threw me a party with the black balloons, "Over the Hill" signs, bottles of Geritol, tubes of denture cream and packs of Depends. Oh, they had a good time with that LOL. Then last night my family and I went to Olive Garden last night for my treat, and it was just as good as I wanted it to be. I just love eating there!

Now it's back to regular life. I have so much stuff piled up on my desk, it's crazy.

I had a dream last night about Chico, my chihuahua who passed away in February. In the dream he had jumped up on the bed and I started crying BIG TIME and hugging him telling him how much I missed him and glad he was back. The dream seemed so real! This is the 3rd dream I have had about him since he passed. I felt a little sad when I first woke up but then happy because I feel he was just visiting with me so it's all good now.



I think about him so much and miss him A LOT but refuse to get down about it. It's just my way of handling grief and would never judge others on how they handle theirs. I did my share of crying a lot in during his illness and right after he passed but realized that would not bring him back. Instead, every time I think of him I feel like I want to cry but change quickly to think happy thoughts about him and I smile instead. I tell my new little dog, Niles, that Chico is his guardian angel because he does a lot of little things Chico use to do. So I am always telling Wayne the new things Chico taught Niles! It makes me happy to know Chico is nearby watching over him. I know Louann is taking care of Chico too!



This post was not meant to be a downer but uplifting. It just makes me feel better to share with you all.

It's not a downer at all. I still miss my black lab, Ben. We buried him in the back yard, and I find myself talking to him when I'm outside, just like I always did. Like you, I try to focus on the good times with him when I start getting down about it. It always helps. And I believe he and my dad are bird hunting everyday!

I'm sure they are together & having a blast! (((Hugs)))

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's a beautiful day here in Central Indy!!!!!! I just spent a couple of hours outside catching up with my neighbors and yelling at the painters that they missed a spot. I'm sure they loved that. LOL!!!!! Now it's back inside to listen to more christmas music on Sounds of the Seasons while getting my laundry and other chores done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

P.S.- Don't forget, HSN starts their CIJ at 11pm edt tonight!!!!!!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick post/update as I am currently in the Toronto City Centre Airport. Currently, I am en route back to Sault Ste. Marie. I'm sure that some of you saw on facebook, my 99-year-old grandmother passed away on Tuesday evening. Initially, the news hit me pretty hard. Since Wednesday, however, I've become proud of her accomplishment(s). You can't be disappointed with 99 years. She did a great job. The funeral will be fairly quiet, but I am sure I will shed a few tears. I would like to thank everyone that has sent positive vibes my way.

As for me, I am currently working at Passport Canada again for the summer... Hence, why I haven't been here. I have little to no internet access throughout the day. It's tough to do anything on such a strict schedule.

Also, I am trying to save money for my trip to Italy, where I will be competing in the World Ultimate Club Championships with my team (www.worlds2014.org), but my bank account doesn't seem to be increasing at all. If only there was a way to start some sort funding initiative! ...my debt will probably just increase after all this...

My plane is now boarding. I'll be home in the Sault until Tuesday, so I am sure that I will have a few opportunities to drop in.
