Thank you all for the kind words for my grandmother.

I probably should have stayed home today, I am feeling so sick, but JP and I went to see the movie, 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." It was very good, we really enjoyed it. My wife took LC to see "Maleficent" which they both enjoyed. Then we went to get some of the boys back to school shopping done

I am heading to bed, I need to start feeling better for work tomorrow.

Good morning everyone! :grin: Hope you all are doing well. I'm heading to the campus today. I need a walk, print my tickets out and return some books to the library.

Also, I am glad you liked the pictures. I am not sure if you expected more of them and in higher quality but I didn't take many pictures in general. That probably isn't a good thing having in mind how once-in-a-lifetime event the Games was but I somehow manage not to have my camera handy, or it runs out of battery, in the moments when I mostly need it.

Good Morning, Post-Milestone People.

Yes, in case you missed it yesterday, we passed through the 100-day Season
Window and have proceeded with great anticipation (and caution) into double-digit territory.

Days to the Season: 99
Days to Christmas Day: 141

(And my, but don't those double nines look niiiiice!)


The temps continue to climb a bit day by day but we are
still below our normal levels for this time of the year.
The humidity is creeping up a bit as well.
This morning, we have begun our day here at 71 degrees.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I left work early yesterday. The boss stuck is head in my door and invited me to play golf. "Sure!", I said. It's been a while since I've played, but I didn't stink it up. There were four of us, and we played 2-man teams. I played with the boss, and we won. It's smart not to beat the boss...LOL!

It's supposed to be nearly 100° today. I'm staying indoors!

Good morning!
Just popping in quick to say hello. I'm heading out to run a couple of errands as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. I didn't get anything done yesterday and I really need to catch up today. My daughter's post-op appointment went well, the doctor said she is healing nicely. Hopefully she'll be back to feeling 100% soon. She goes back to work next week. We have been having problems with our internet & phones and have had workers at the house trying to figure out what the problem is. Well they showed up again yesterday and ended up being here for a few hours. The good thing is it looks like the issues have been resolved. My parents also showed up for a visit so the day just got away from me. So today I need to run to the supermarket for a few things, Rite Aid and also Target. Then back home to work on some chores and order more dorm stuff online. I also need to place an order for my daughter's text books so they will be ready to be picked up when she gets there.

Good morning MMC!!! Happy Hump Day ~ Happy Pines Day!

Well, all of our tile is in outside & dirt is leveled back out & he back filled the area around our new addition....and none too soon before it started POURING!!!! Wew!!! After 3 trips to the hardware store yesterday, we have the ceiling painted in the kitchen. But of course there is a story there too - I was doing the trim work when I bumped the paint tray off of the ladder & onto the carpet, my ficus tree, & the box our new ceiling fan is in! THANKFULLY the carpet it spilled on is going to be cut out anyway for the new laminate. Geesh! It wiped off the ficus tree nicely & also the box. We wiped it up best we could from the bare wood floor so it didn't get walked through & drug through the house (Miss Gracie!) There's always something that has to not go right it seems. :lol: There is talk of ripping out the bathroom tonight. EEK!!! That's going to get interesting!

Just hopping on here real quick and then have to run but wanted to share a cute story with you all to start your day.

I had just set up my smart phone to put pictures for each of my contacts. For Wayne's contact I put the picture of him with Santa. I took that picture of him with Santa when we met him at Hallmark in July. Yesterday my phone was ringing and my grandson said, "Grandma, your phone is ringing". I told him it is probably Grandpa Wayne. My grandson looked at the picture that popped up while it was ringing and said, "Grandma, Santa is calling, hurry and answer it"!!!!! As I answered it my grandson kept saying, "Can I talk to Santa"?! I could not stop laughing and had to explain that Grandpa Wayne is in that picture too. I guess the star, Santa Claus, was all that was relevant to him. :lol:

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another warm day here with a high in the mid 80's and some rain this afternoon. Not to much going on today. Just need to get some stuff done around the apartment. I already spent some time outside talking to the neighbors. Now I just need to find the motivation.
