Good afternoon from Wisconsin friends! I'm catching up a bit around here and getting excited about the upcoming season. We were on a day trip to the Lake Geneva area yesterday where there were many gift shops. We saw lots of Fall decor and Christmas items- even though it was 80 degrees outside! I enjoy shopping when we aren't in the overbooked days of the actual season...hope you are all getting into the spirit too!

It is, thanks! Just a bit hectic, I've been dorm shopping all day. I can't believe my daughter's leaving in three weeks, I wish the time would slow down. It's going by way too fast!

I have just been sitting around reading the paper and looking at the grocery ads this morning. Nothing that great in either of them though. So I guess it's time for me to get up and get busy. Good afternoon MMC! Just taking a little break to catch up! I don't feel like I'm getting much done. There is so much prep work to painting - never mind the holes I didn't know I needed to patch before painting! (where they pulled up the trim work!) But I think all holes are patched except 1 & that's going to be a hubby job! Those areas are sanded & primed. I have everything taped off & the ceiling is all painted. I went to the hardware store (AGAIN) to try 1 more time on the color of paint to match what we have in the tv room - it's darn close this time! Wew! So actually, there is no visible change in what I have done today. Darnit! :lol: By the time I go to bed tonight I hope to at least have the utility room & the bathroom painted!! Hope you are all having a marvelous day!!
