Good late-afternoon,

It feels like it has been a long time since I have been able to spend some quality time here, it has been nice to just take my time and read the posts.

It has been a hot one here, I know it hit 90 with a heat index of 98 a couple of hours ago. Yuck!

I have to go start the potatoes for dinner, but I will be back later on.

Good...uh...Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hate to say it, but I'm glad to be back in civilization. It's not that the cabin was that far away, I could be in Bellville in 30 minute, but it was deep in the woods with no pond or river. So, no fishing or swimming. Just sitting around. Ugh, that ain't me. It was a very cool cabin, with cedar siding inside & out, large cook shelter, 12 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. But, unless you like just sitting around, it was kind of a bore LOL!

And my bossy sister-in-law was as bossy as ever. Grrr!

I think Lulu enjoyed spending the weekend with my mom. I don't think mom wanted to let Lulu go when I went to pick her up. I wish she would get a pet; they are so much company.

Good evening!
The day flew by so fast! Everything went well at the preschool today. We had a staff meeting and then we spent a few hours setting up the classrooms. I have to go back in tomorrow for a meet & greet, parents can bring the little ones in to meet their teachers & drop off their supplies. And then classes begin on Thursday. It was a bit hectic for me after I got home, just trying to catch up with everything. I'm sure I'll get in to a routine quickly and it will be fine. I'm so happy I just have to do Tuesday & Thursday. That will be perfect for now. I think I'm going to really like it. Anyway, I'm feeling sleepy so I'm going to turn in soon. The weather was awful today, so hot and humid. It felt like a rainforest out there. Maybe thats why I'm so darn tired. I can't wait until we get some cooler temperatures. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and had a nice day.
