Spending the night tonight at a friends house in Seaside Heights. It's the perfect time to visit this town because all the summer crowds have cleared out - it's eerily quiet for a Saturday night. It's great to see Seaside so well rebuilt after Sandy 2 years ago. It was sad to see all the buildings in the three blocks that burnt down last year gone. Some great businesses were lost.

And I got to get some boardwalk food before everything down here closes up for the winter! Fried Oreos, pizza, lemonade, and of course the great Kohr's Frozen Custard!

I'm stuffed still! The only spoiler for today was the heat and humidity, whewww it was a hot one today around here; 94 degrees. But when a line of thunderstorms blew thru here around 7:30 this evening, the temperature dropped over 20 degrees.....what a pleasant relief.

Not doing too much tomorrow, cutting grass and watching a little football and eating leftovers all day...... Hope everyone had a good day today!

Happy Birthday to him! Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!

Merry Sunday! That's one I don't get to say often as I am usually at work!

Mr. Fetsive will be back from Italy later. For now we are enjoy a typical sunday of doing nothing. Very autumnal here again today and I am wondering if it here to stay now.

Since yesterday I have been feeling such a burst of excitement for Halloween and Christmas. It's on my mind so much now and I can't wait for the season to begin. Our Christmas24 all day movie channel should start at the beginning of November. this will kick things off for me!!

We watched harry Potter yesterday and my youngest really enjoyed it. It was amazing seeing his little reactions, it felt like the first time for me to. I think we will watch another today as the weather is just right!

Onward we progress through the first weekend of September and through our ever-declining count.

Today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 67
Days to Christmas Day: 109

And there you have it -- SINGLE DIGITS to the 100-day Christmas Day Window!
(My oh my has time passed. Such a short time now until a double-double-digit count begins.)

Slowly improving weather will accelerate as of Monday, with our highs possibly back down into the 70's with lower humidity.
Could come with the trade-off of rain however, although we could use some.
We stand at 75 degrees here in the capital at this hour.

Have a Super Sunday and a Rousing Remainder of your Weekend, Folks!
