Christmas Countdown - 2014

I know I have not done my Christmas duty for a while, but I do want you to know how much you all mean to me. I was reminded of this yesterday when I arrived home from the hospital. In the mail, there was a special card from Meceka, a thinking-of-you sentiment making me realize how much we mean to each other and how we care about the personal lives of our members. Mary (and really, all of you) are so caring--I just don't know how to express it. The full name of the Elks is Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks--in short, BPOE, which many Elks members say also stands for Best People on Earth. Well, here at MMC and on the Countdown, is where the Best People on Earth really make their home. I am proud to know you all!

Good afternoon,

Not much going on here, I have things to do but I am in lazy mode.
JP's physical went well, took him out of school for 90 minutes he got to miss a test, little stinker. He will be making it up sooner rather than later.

I should probably try to get things done.

Hello MMC !!!

Wow...the time has flown by. I don't get to visit often anymore but I still think of MMC fondly. Today someone at work asked me how many days until Christmas and I was not able to answer the question!!! That's when I realized it was time to come back to MMC and get back to the joys of the Christmas season. I am hoping to get back into the swing of things. I miss the countdowns, the conversations, and the excitement. But mostly I miss being among people who share the love of the Christmas season as much as I did. I have read thru a few posts from the countdown and can't believe how many milestones have gone by already. So it looks like I have come back at a good time to share in the excitement. I am happy to be back among Christmas pals, and I hope everyone is having a GREAT day.
