I signed in here yesterday and posted on a few threads, never made it in the Countdown because I got really sick! My son-in-law was so sweet and bought me some 7 Up and some healthy snacks. I never drink soda but when I get real sick to my stomach water doesn't taste too good and that 7 Up was tasty and settled my stomach a lot. Hoping for a better day today because it's not fun to stay in bed all day long.

The funny part of all this is before my mom knew I was sick she asked if I wanted to go out for Mexican food, her treat! No thank you! That would have been the worse thing to put on a upset tummy! :lol: That was a nice offer though!

We will remain in the lower to mid 80's this week then the temps will climb into the lower 90's next week. Nooooo!!!

I hope you are handy with a mop!!!! LOL!!!!

I just ordered a whole bottle for you!!!! It's Carl's new wine that he named after me!!!!!



I might be trying it out to make sure it lives up to my standards.

Well in keeping with tonight's blossom theme here at the Pines, Carl is serving up deep fried squash blossoms stuffed with sweetened ricotta cheese. They are pretty darn good!!!

I'm still searching for this "Blossoms" contest. I searched high and low today in the grocery store. I have spotted a few blossoms there in years' past at this time. Nothing yet this year. Hopefully the camel has something great in store!
