Good evening my fellow Christmas lovers.....

Well, I got all my running done, just finished eating a chicken Chesapeake (chicken breast with a Maryland crab cake in the middle) for dinner. And now, since I'm home alone for the next several hours, it's going to be me and MMC for a little while......

What kind of crocheting projects are you working on now-a-days Merry?

A nice day but a busy one!

Finished a pillow last week based on the square pattern I used in the holly leaf afghan, made a pair of mittens for a friend at work, made a few granny squares from scraps, and working on another pair of mittens. When it gets cool and stays cool, I want to finish a heavy afghan I started last winter for Mr. Thanks for asking!

Thank you! I'm heading to the allergist on Tuesday, they're going to do that skin test on me, (it's like 50 different things they are going to stick me with) to see what exactly is setting me off....

Happy Sunday (even though it's beginning to wind down, and is nearly over across the pond)!

Cleared a bunch of old clothes and other garbage out of the closet this morning and am busy washing winter sweaters for the upcoming season, along with regular laundry duties. Watching some streaming video and crocheting between loads. Mr. is working OT today, so I got myself a mess of Chinese food and overate just a little. cheesy Starting to feel drowsy and tired. Another Monday is on the way!

Me too! I was tested 3 years ago, and when they tested me, I had reactions to Trees, grass and mold. But, at the time, they said I didn't need any further treatments, so we'll see what they say this go around!

Tonight, when I was out running errands, I stopped at Target, and on a whim, I bought a new dvd for Halloween called, "Scared Shrekless"!

I loved Shrek! Has anyone watched it yet?

Man, am I glad to see you guys!

It's been 4 days since I have been on MMC. The school had homecoming this week (and I ultimately am responsible for the execution of homecoming events) and the Little Bambina's birthday and birthday party (they were on separate days) also occurred this week. Homecoming wrapped up Friday night at 10:30 with an unfortunate loss for my favorite high school team and I headed home to help out Doc. My wife, who is great in pressure situations, organized the birthday, but kept fine tuning everything until the absolute last minute when she said "Ok, now go take a shower. You stink." This was after going to bed at 2:30 Friday night and getting up at 6:00 am on Saturday morning. We worked on making it "perfect" until 1:30 (the party was at 2:00)....and it was perfect. My wife did such a good job organizing and having the party. Magical. Simply magical. Last night, when it was just the three of us, I realized how perfect it was....the party....and the after party....when it was just the three of us.

It was a great day.

I went to sleep at 8:00 pm and woke up at 8:05 am. Grabbed coffee, heading to my other home....here with you....where it's also perfect! To wrap up our night yesterday, Doc said "Well, I guess it's time to start shopping for Christmas."

Gosh, I love that girl.

Well the 20-year career of one of the greatest Yankees of all time is over. Derek Jeter was just pulled after getting an RBI single, his final hit in his final game in baseball.

An amazing cheer and chant from the crowd up in Boston at Fenway. I got chills. Very cool all around, and very classy by the Red Sox and their fans.

What a great 20 years, going to be weird next year.

Such a classy player.

Really weird, think A-Rod will be back.
