Aww he is just plain adorable! I just love my dogs and don't know what I would do without any one of them. Mine are getting up in age but I block out any thought of the day they will go because I think I will need to take a few weeks off work at least for bereavement and i'm even joking!

I know, me too. Might even need therapy!

oops I had to go back and correct my post..I meant to say Im NOT joking...I will need therapy probably too. I have to believe though that in the afterlife our pets are there with us too so we will see them again in heaven!!

Dawg, you will love this movie. It's one of my favorites. About loyalty, love, devotion, etc. Animals are so amazing!

My friend Jules just adopted a puppy, a shiba inu. And "Hachi" is an Akita Inu, same family, just different in size. I told her that she had to see this movie!

Happy Milestone Day!
It is going to be sunny today with temperatures in the lower 40's. It will be turning a little bit colder over the weekend and we may get some flurries but no accumulation is expected. I'll take the flurries, it's better than nothing!
Not too much planned for today. I have a couple of phone calls to make and then I'm heading out to run a few errands.
I have been sneezing like crazy this morning, it's probably just allergies. I need to pick up more Claritan while I'm out, the box is almost empty.
I already straightened up, vacuumed and started laundry so I don't have too many other chores to do. Maybe I'll be able to take it easy this afternoon, that would be nice!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

It's another chilly day, with a colder day coming tomorrow, but it's supposed to be 70° by Monday.

Mrs. Hilda's homemade soup was just as good as I wanted it to be last night. Mmm, mmm! My brother and I always meet our mom on Friday for lunch, so that's the plan today. Tomorrow I have to take down the last of my Christmas decorations. I have a Santa that I put on the roof of my shop in the back yard. I hate to take him down, but it wouldn't be as special if I left him up all year.

You and me both. I was thinking the same thing. I don't know what happened to me. Since having kids I burst into tears over anything sentimental.

It took me a long time to grieve Nita, our family dog. I still have a memory box of her that I open from time to time. She will always live in my heart, and I look forward to seeing her & Lady (first family dog) again one day.

Good morning everyone`! I am playing hooky today I have to work Monday so this way I still get a 3 day weekend. I am home listening to Bob and Sheri on the radio, I use to get them when I lived in Ga but I have to listen on the computer now. They were talking about the saddest movie you will ever watch, and because it's January we all need a good cry right? Has anyone heard of it? it's an Asian movie that was remade here in the states in 2009 I don't even know the name of it because I don't even know how to pronounce it, but there is a book about it too. The movie features Richard Gere in 2009 and it's about a dog that follows him to the train station everyday and they become buddies then Richard Gere character dies and the dog keeps coming back every day to see him(sob sob) has anyone heard of this movie or book? I would love to have a good cry right about now!lol have a great morning everyone!
