Well, come on down!!!

When I do my annual holiday baking you can come down and test all of it for me. Ryan, you too since you want to try them out!!! Heck, all of MMC come try it out!

I'm there!!!

Good morning, everyone!

Not much time this morning. I have my prep first. It is followed by four hours of teaching - with the exception of lunch, of course. I don't like prep first. I was hoping to be in Art all day again today, as she is away for a second day in a row. Unfortunately, I have a schedule of difficult classes. Well, they are easy in the sense of workload for the students, but the students can become aggravated and aggressive quite easily. I'll just have to be extra firm with everyone today, I guess.

With that said, wish me luck. It could be worse! I have had these classes already this year. They know how I work. Hopefully it goes well again on my end.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone! See you at the 'Pines this evening. And, of course, how about that count?! Two weeks from this evening, we will be gathered at the 'Pines and counting down the hours, minutes, and seconds to the Christmas Season in real-time. Until then, let's keep enjoying ourselves!

Hope all of the classes go well, Brent!!!!!!

Good Morning and Happy Pines Day!
I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning, HMG!!!! Hope you have a good day too!!!

Merry Wednesday! Hope all is good.

We just got back from a walk out. Weather is fitting and perfect for this time of year. My little one picked his costume out today, bumble bee transformer. Once we got home he won't wear though. Kids! Hopefully he will come around by Friday. My eldest is Darth Vader.

Last night we watched House On Haunted Hill (1959) http://youtu.be/dFtLw4lbgP8 along with Halloween episodes of Frasier, Big Bang and Melissa and Joey. Continuing the theme tonight. we are having so much fun and loving the seasonal festivities!!!! I am sure you all are too!

Well of to bake some Minion cookies with the kids. Have a spooky Wednesday everyone!
:zombie:
xx

Sounds like you have had a good morning, Festive!!! Hope you enjoy the rest of the day and have fun making the cookies!!!!

I hope you find ingredients to make something yummy!!! Stay warm - have a good day!!!

Thanks!!! I realized that I am out of flour but I have plenty of mixes that I can jazz up.

Flurries??? Really??

Yep!! They just said on the noon news that it is going to be a cold, windy, rainy day with the rain turning to snow Friday night and we may even see some slight accumulations come saturday morning. Sounds like it's not going to be a very good night for the kids.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to go to the school to see Elizabeth's induction into the Junior Honor Society this morning. Then I have to pick them up early from school to take Jacob to the dentist. Run, run, run again.

Bellville is trick-or-treating tomorrow night, so I have to get the crew cleaning up the streets today.

I hoe y'all have a great day! cheesy

Have a good day, Brad!!!! Congrats to Elizabeth!!!!

Good evening,

It was a miserable night at work with inventory, counting over 11,000lbs of turkeys by myself was absolute h**l. The good thing was when I got home was my new cellphone protector came in, I picked out...wait for it... a red/green one. My wife said it was so me. cheesy

I am very tired, and will be heading to bed shortly, I work a strange 930-630 shift tomorrow. That is the earliest I can get to work on a Wednesday after getting the boys onto the bus.

Good night, everyone!!!

Holy Toledo---that's five and a half TONS of Thanksgiving bird ... No wonder you're tired and sore!!

Haha, that was the funny part. 15 cookies and still not sure. What a lovely guy. ^^

Wise words. :]

Love this picture. Looks such a cozy place. :]

Good late afternoon everyone! Hope your day is going well. :]
Had an appointment with the lecturer earlier today to get some guidelines for my sustainable tourism essay. It was very helpful cause I had been feeling quite lost in terms of structure and things he expects to see in the essay. :]
He said he had once been to Lithuania as a guest speaker for one of the universities and it seemed he really liked the country. That's a heart warming thing to hear since not many people go there. :]
I also found a very cool article last night about Lithuania in 'NY Times' itself. 'NY Times' baby! ^^ http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/28/b...ussias-grip-on-energy.html?smid=fb-share&_r=0
Going to do some reading for my lectures. (What a surprise!) An 'exciting' life of a university student. Doing the same thing every single day. :]
Best wishes to all!

Interesting article, thanks for sharing!
Glad that you were able to speak to the lecturer, and get a better idea if what was expected =] Sounds like a nice man, and wonderful teacher.
Good luck with your reading & research today! [emoji169]

He is getting bombarded with texts from all of our talking pets. Poor guy! I have been cracking up all morning. Dogs & cats....all sending birthday messages. Too funny!

Oops...lunch time. Have a great afternoon gang!

Love it!
Happy Birthday to your brother!
Enjoy your lunch! :)

If I was an accountant or a nurse there would have been. Not much else out there today though.

Looks like the weather could be pretty wild for the East Coast and Northeast this weekend according to Accuweather......

650x366_10291324_hd23.jpg

A storm riding a blast of cold air will drop southeastward from the Great Lakes to the mid-Atlantic coast on Saturday. The storm could take a left turn on Sunday, perhaps catching part of New England.

The track and strength of that storm will determine the extent of rain changing to snow versus a sweep of dry air along the Appalachians and I-95 corridor, and whether or not a major snowfall occurs over part of New England.

Parts of the central and southern Appalachians will receive their first accumulating snow of the season.

According to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist John Gresiak, "Snow may fall as far south as the mountains of northern Georgia."

The combination of snow and remaining foliage could lead to fallen trees and power lines.

From Valerie's facebook page-

"Can you believe we're already working on Christmas in July for next year? "

Oh yeah!!!! It never ends!!!!! Bring on the mercury glass and glitter!!!!!

I pick out one cloudy cold day in December to do my baking. We don't get too many of those so I stock pile on the baking supplies and wait for that day. For some reason I am just not in the mood to bake for Christmas when the sun is shining and it's mild weather outside - doesn't feel festive. Anyway, I blast the Christmas music, wear my Santa hat, bake, sing loudly and dance around a bit - yes, I do dance and sing some while baking! Sorry, no Youtube videos available to see on that, just picture it in your head. It takes up an entire day to do all this and I love it! Then I am done baking like that again until the next holiday season! So I am kind of like the lady you mention, I love baking even if I can't eat the stuff!

That's awesome! I love your tradition...oh to be a fly on the wall!!!! :D
