We have a few projects to work on around the house, and in the garage. Then, I plan to try and get a box or two out of Christmas, as time allows. Hallmark movies will be on all day!

It's going to be windy today with temperatures in the 40's. The house was chilly this morning, I had to turn up all of the thermostats.
Everyone's still sleeping here, I'm having my pumpkin spice coffee and enjoying the peace.
I feel like I'm getting sick again. It's crazy, I just got over a cold a couple of weeks ago. This will be the third time I'm sick since I started the preschool job in September. So many germs in that place. The good thing is I'm now down to Tuesdays & Thursdays so I get to stay in and rest tomorrow!

Our tree is up! Not decorated yet but it's up! We put it up last night. (It still needs a little straightening out.)
When we dragged the tree out of the box and set it up Snow-in-Texas kept saying the tree looks really bad (and it did), he said we really need a new one. It was so tempting to run out a get a new one but as Linus would say, "Maybe it just needs a little love". So we straightened all the branches out, put the lights on and it started looking better. Now I took this picture this morning and seeing some gaps that need to be straightened out - I think the cats played a bit in it! Ha ha!!! One of my cats climbs in this tree all the time. I bought it from Hobby Lobby over 15 years ago and it's held up to the cats abuse!
The angel on top of the tree turned 27 years old this year! I just love her!

Good morning, everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed that extra hour of sleep last night. I think, even Simon (the cat) realized the clock went back. He didn't wake me up this morning until 6:30, his usual feeding time. Smart guy!
Today seems like it will be a day for housework. Kim and I were out for much of yesterday. We did some Christmas searching at Rideau Centre in the afternoon. I found plenty of great photos. Some stores had a few Christmas decorations, but others are still transitioning. No real big Christmas setups, unfortunately. Only The Bay had some Christmas decor - it still wasn't as nice as other major stores, however. i will post some photos to the Blossoms thread shortly!
Aside from Christmas, Kim and I also did some groceries. We're set for the week! Oh, but we did watch White Christmas. I actually had not seen it before. Kim and I greatly enjoyed seeing Bing dance his way all over the TV screen. It was a great way to bring us closer to the Season. In my opinion, I wouldn't call it much of a Christmas movie - to today's standards - but it was still enjoyable!

I hope everyone is has a blessed and merry Sunday! There are a lot of chores waiting for me today and if time permits, I will decorate the tree. Only going to have a small one and it is going to be without lights because of Palmer, but it will still be nice!
