[Classic Christmas]

Brrrr...was just checking out the long-range forecast. Living up in "God's Country" in the U.P. of Michigan any time after Halloween is fair game for snow (and sometimes on Halloween); and, sure enough, calling for snow four days straight: Sunday through next Wednesday :

Our last few winters remind me of the ones we had when I was a kid in the 70s and early-80s - not only were we guaranteed a White Christmas, a White Thanksgiving was a sure bet, too.

Here we go!

Brrrr...was just checking out the long-range forecast. Living up in "God's Country" in the U.P. of Michigan any time after Halloween is fair game for snow (and sometimes on Halloween); and, sure enough, calling for snow four days straight: Sunday through next Wednesday :

Yes and he promised me that it wasn't being used to hold fish earlier this afternoon. He wouldn't comment about yesterday though!!!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their evening. Just making some dinner now after the gym. The turkey burgers are starting to smell good! Can't go wrong with the burgers, fries and a caesar salad! Kim was actually supposed to make it, but she bought the wrong nail polish remover and has to go back to the drug store. Ha! It was bothering her.... Oh well.

Oh, I failed to mention earlier that Kim and I made a stop in to Tinseltown yesterday evening. My lamppost decoration was in and I made a couple other purchases as well. They had some new stock on the floor and it was so tempting not to purchase a few items, especially when my weakness (snow globes, especially) were in a high traffic area. We really enjoyed our visit. We will definitely have to go back at least once before Christmas. Good news with all this, too; The owner said that they have been super busy in the past week. He couldn't believe all the people coming in on Halloween! Then, it was also packed on the weekend, too! He's doing a great job with the shop. Hopefully this Christmas Season is a success for Tinseltown!

It is always so magical! I am lucky to have a place where I can step into Christmas year-round and see the decor and beautiful lights as well as the sounds of Bing singing throughout the store.

I hope I'm not late for The 'Pines. I can only imagine Carl right now... That camel must be giddy with excitement and smiling from ear-to-ear! The magic of the Season is nearly a week away. In exactly one week, we can all gather here, and The 'Pines to countdown to the Christmas Season in realtime. How magical that will be!

Speaking of magic, I have heard rumours that Carl has been working on his own "Special Post" as we are also so close to those commencing. We'll see if it's true. If not, I will be happily settle for his best Fozzywig speech/impression next week!
