It's not too crazy yet, the worst of it is supposed to come tonight. They are saying heavy, wet snow. Possibly 2 inches/hour. And are worried about power outages. Praying they are wrong!

I almost wish they were, so things would change.
I have to leave so early in the morning for work, that often times I am one of the first cars on the highway where I have to travel. It's scary!

You stay safe snowflake!!!

Sometimes having a solid deadline is the best thing for getting a project done. We moved into our house in mid-October 2008, and we were to host Christmas Eve in our home for the first time 2 months later. We got everything done due to that deadline.

And it looks amazing! Love it!

Wow...it looks like some crazy cold temps are coming to a large portion of the U.S.

Snowflake, looks like y'all are going to get some bone chilling cold up your way!

I'm excited as Oklahoma is expected to have highs in the 30s for a week beginning Wednesday.

Yes, we are 20 degrees below normal.
That's winter in Wisconsin for ya! Expect the unexpected! [emoji300]️[emoji301]️

Special Post Day 3

Christmas is not just a date on the calendar, it is a place in our hearts.

How you keep Christmas is as unique as you are, that is why you cannot do it wrong.
Some decorate every inch of their home inside and out, while others only put up a small tree. Gifts can be bountiful and expensive or just one small inexpensive item. All of it is right.
We create lasting memories and traditions along the way that can last for generations.

Christmas is love in action. The greatest love of all was a baby born in a stable marked by a star that first Christmas.

Christmas is for all ages, all nations, all economic groups. Christmas is the most amazing time of the year when good will to all is abundant. A time to give and to receive.

So make Christmas what you want it to be, but make it a good one because in 3 days the season begins...are you ready ?

Great post, Star. Only three more sleeps. I hope I am ready! :)

Good afternoon, friends!
Hope your Monday is going well so far~

Good morning, everyone!

Great to see lots of action in the forums this morning. Of course, it was great to read another fantastic Special Post as well! Once again, great work, 'Star!

I am off for yet another day. I'm quite surprised at the lack of calls, although I am pretty certain I will be working the rest of the week. I only have two days booked thus far, but I have a feeling I will be OK.

Today looks to be a little wet and chilly. The forecast for tomorrow appears to be one of the nicer Remembrance Days in recent memory. There should be a small amount of rain, a little bit of a wind, but mostly sun and temperatures to reach double digits (10c/50f)! Not bad! I'd be happy to walk down to the Canadian War Memorial and partake in the celebrations once again this year, instead I will be at Russell and enjoying however they plan to commemorate this ever-so important holiday.

I hope everyone enjoyed their final weekend before the Christmas Season. As I posted, Kim and I had a great time going out and making some purchases before decorating on Friday. Yesterday was a relaxing day of house cleaning and a few errands. It was also very nice to see the Packers lay quite the beating onto the Bears. Now the Packers just have to do that for their remaining seven games.

Well, I hope everyone enjoys their final few days before the beginning of the Christmas Season! Today is nearly half over for most of us, and tomorrow - being Remembrance/Veterans' Day will surely fly by. Wednesday will have much of the same as we will all be looking forward to clocking out and heading to the 'Pines to countdown in realtime. Fantastic!

Have a great Monday, everyone!

I have to credit my friends here, with turning me onto a Christmas store, Bronner's...Oh, I like this place. I did a little on-line shopping there, this past Friday, and I ordered me a couple of new outdoor, lighted, Blowmolds, to add to my collection of Christmas decorations.

I've added that site, to one of my "favorites", for Christmas related sites... So, thank you to all you folks that have been talking about the place here on MMC!!!!!
:merry:

You should go! We went 3-4 years ago. A few months ago I was about an hour away for work for almost 2 weeks. Had to do a side trip!

Hi everybody. I hope You guys are doing ok. All is fine over here. I sent out a few more job-applications today, did a little shopping and am watching kid´s TV with Kandice at the moment.
I got a job interview tomorrow...it´s just a little something....but at least better than nothing. Cross ya fingers for me would ya?

I hope that your job interview goes well tomorrow. :]

Good evening here!
I'm too frustrated with this essay so I'm just gonna leave it for today.
(And do it the very last minute probably.)
Instead, I'm going to read and fill in some empty spots in my journal.
Yes, I'm going to procrastinate.
I hope that you all are having much more productive day than I do.

I had a nice evening, thank you! As for a great week---I started by scraping a car's fender in the parking lot at my workplace this morning. Just little scrapes, but I had to leave a note with info, take photos, and notify my insurance agent. :-? Now I'm nervous about when the other driver will call.

Sorry you got in a wreck!!! Hope the other person is understanding.

I just got back from lunch & I can not believe how nice it is outside!! The neighbors who are off work, or who were home for lunch were all outside! Gracie even had some visitors (neighbors Grandkids) ~ she was so happy. Lol! I hung some clothes on the line - and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt. Crazy! I LOVE IT!!!! But better not get use to it!!!!

Ok, I'm heading back to continue catching up on posts ~ I hope!! xx

Have a great afternoon!
