Evening all! I am just making dinner. Baked chicken and stuffed potatoes with coleslaw. I am so hungry. I spent most of today cleaning and tidying the living room. It is ready to be decorated :) I can't wait to put the tree up especially as it is a new tree. I am dying to see what it will be like! We are meant to put it up next weekend but at this rate I won't be surprised if it goes up tomorrow hahaha. Mr Festive suggested we do so last night but I'm not sure if he was joking.

Brent - I see you are are putting up yours! I look forward to the photos! Have a merry time!

Ok well have a great weekend everyone! First one of the season !!

Indeed, Festive. Break out that tree after your dinner and see if he's ready to put it up. I'm sure it will be look marvellous. OF course, I look forward to your photos, too!

I am very excited! Right now, I just hope I have energy after teaching and then going to the gym. I'm sure I'll be fine... As if putting up the tree wasn't going to lift my spirits enough, the sounds of Vince Guaraldi and Michael Buble will be of festive service. Hope you have a merry-filled night, too!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another chilly one here with a high right around the freezing mark. The sun is out though so that should make it feel a lot better than the rest of the week when it was cloudy and windy. Not a whole lot going on here today. I need to run to Target at some point this morning and then it will be back home to watch some Nascar coverage. It's the last race or the year so I have to get my fill of it to carry me over to late February. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

My brother and my mom's husband are going to the race! My mom, her husband, brother and his wife are all in Ft. Myers, Florida right now vacationing at my mom and her husband's trailer. I am sure the two of them will have a great time at the race. Hope you enjoy the coverage, made!

Good morning, everyone!

My ears are ringing and I am tired! It's a good thing that it is Day 2 of the Christmas Season. I don't think I would have been able to stay awake while driving this morning if it wasn't for the Christmas music. I listened to one of my favourite (newer) Christmas albums "Snow Globe" by Matt Wertz on the drive, then began a decade-long favourite of mine, "Barenaked For the Holidays," of course, by the Barenaked Ladies. Normally it is a somewhat short 25 minutes to teach, instead I am about a 50 minute drive away today.

The concert last night was a lot of fun. It was great seeing one of my favourite bands (The Planet Smashers) play, again. It was my third time seeing them this year, and I've enjoyed myself a lot every time. After seeing them so much (27 times), they've come to know me and always say "Hello," when they see me. It's always good to know that they recognize and are appreciative of their fans.

TODAY!!!! Well, today is the day. Today is the day that Kim and I push our way to the very back of her closet and bring the three big rubbermaid contains of Christmas decorations into the living room to decorate. This year, we will have "Christmas" by Michael Buble and Vince Guaraldi Trio's "A Charlie Brown Christmas" on vinyl to carry us along. Hopefully Simon the cat doesn't get too carried away! I'm sure he will though... decorations and a brand new Christmas Tree?! Simon won't know what to do with himself!

While walking to meet my friend Sean last night, I saw a house about four down from me that was completely decorated for Christmas. All the lights were crystal clear and filled so much of the house. I wanted to take a photo last night, but I was in a bit of a rush... and there were already a few people outside looking at the house. I will take a photo tonight or tomorrow.

Well, the bell for class will be going shortly. My break for the day is done... Have a great Friday, everyone! The Christmas Season is here. The first weekend of the Christmas Season is so close. Christmas is everywhere! It is fantastic. Merry Christmas!

:give: Isn't great that so many people enjoy the sights and signs of Christmas.

I took extra time shopping today by wandering the aisles and looking at all the decorations. I want a new wreath for the door because I like to switch them once a week leading up to Christmas and the one I like best needs to meet the glue gun again. Didn't buy a wreath today, but I saw two I liked - just waiting for the one I love.

I wrapped and mailed off the first gift of the season with some festive music playing that you can hear on MCRadio. I too, have been delighted by sights and signs of Christmas. The look on the clerk's face at the postal outlet when I was paying for my package to be shipped off to its merry destination was a joy in itself. She also remarked about my shirt "Mistletoe Enthusiast" - seems like I made her day.

Tomorrow I'm taking my mom out so she can do some secret shopping for my dad. Since her stroke, it's harder for her to get around, but she still has her charm and wit. I had an idea for her and I to treat our men to a fabulous unexpected portrait of us together wearing costumes from the 'Roaring Twenties' or perhaps we'll go "Old West" instead. It's an expensive idea, but something they'll keep and enjoy while my mom and I can have a grand time dressing up and bonding; I think its worth it. We always wind up buying clothes for our husbands so why not do something different this year. I think she'll go for it!

Picked up two boxes of Christmas cards at Target and I plan on getting at those this Sunday. I'm starting to panic that I won't be ready for Christmas, but it looks like there's still plenty of time to prepare.

Keep a merry thought in your head everybody!

Here are some snow pictures I promised you

 Heard you were getting hit again today with the fluffy stuff.

While I was shopping the trees and roads were bare and the sun was out and gone again. I went into the mall to run a few merry errands and the sun was out. I came out of Canadian Tire and snowflakes were squalling passed and by the time I reached the gas station to fill up, it stopped and when I came out of the post office it started all over again. I felt like I was inside a snow globe and someone was shaking it up and then resting it back on the fireplace mantel. My non-merry friends would blame it all on me because they know I took the day off to shop.

reading about you and Brent putting up your trees and decorating makes me want so much to get mine up too. I wonder if I can talk them into giving my daughter the keys early ? My living room is to a point where there is only one place to sit now, looks even more like a warehouse now. She bought a desk and yes, it too is in my living room! Bless her heart, I will find the place quiet and empty when she is gone.

LOL, it feel like that here today too, minus the sun. It is snowing on and off with those lake effect streamers going by.
I did not go to work today either, woke with a very bad headache and knew working near those poinsettias would just make it worse. I so rarely call in sick, usually try to just tough it out. I have to go and pick up LittleCS in a bit so should get off for now and get going, have a great day !

Have a great FRIDAY snowflake!!!

I can throw in some more good company ~ that's also my brothers birthday! Busy day!!

ENJOY the snow star!! No snow here today...sunshine & COLD!

Thanks, Holiday! Happy Friday to you!!

That's awesome that it's your brother's birthday, too!! A special day for some great people!

Went to see a show at the theater last night, and when I walked out of the theater after it was over around 10:30, it looked like a full-on snowstorm. It was very cool and very Christmasy!

Looking forward to Thanksgiving in under 2 weeks and the start of the Christmas season for my family when Santa arrives at the end of the Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Happy Friday, threeyoda!
Sounds beautiful!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

It's a little chilly here in the coastal empire this morning, and I like it! It was 38°F when I got to work this morning. Nice!

I have a busy day at work today, and a busy weekend planned, so I need to buckle-down and get it done. I hope to go see Interstellar tomorrow afternoon. The matinee prices are easier to handle ;).

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Hey Brad~
