Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! We are having a heat wave here today with a high of 37 predicted. To bad it's still going to be extremely windy. At least the wind chills will be above 0 today though. Well since I was lazy yesterday, I have to get out in it today. I need to take mom to get her blood checked and then we need to run by the grocery store to pick up a few things for thanksgiving before they go off of sale. Then I will be off to the Pines!!!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good hump day morning everyone! We are having a heat wave too out west as our low this morning was just 22F today should get to 38 so I bet that will take care of a lot of that snow in my back yard....it will get replaced this weekend though! I hope everyone has a great weds! keep warm y'all east coasters(and mid westerners)!

I went searching for a merry feeling
I headed into the downtown core
Cedar boughs, lights and bows adorned the shops
Sale signs in every window and on every door

I went searching for a merry feeling
Spotted a couple huddled in a doorway, less fortunate than I
Carollers standing on every other corner
Church Bells resonating across the sky

I went searching for a merry feeling
Headed out onto a country road
I came upon a living Nativity
The wise farmer approached, carrying a heavy load

The stranger understood what I was seeking
And this is what I was told,

the storm continues to storm, the snow continues to fall. This system seems to be stuck over us. Ride home even in town was long and slippery.

I slipped and fell coming out of work, landed smack on my knee that I injured last summer. It is tender and turning colors but I can walk ok.
Someone stopped right away to help me to my feet and then to my van, she even cleaned it off for me. Will see how it feels in the morning, but I think it will be fine.

wow, that wind is really rattling the windows ! glad our power is staying on. I think school buses will not be running again tomorrow since this is supposed to go on all night.

Oh no! I hope your knee is ok today! Stay safe 'n warm!

Good evening. Just wanted to say hello quick. Busy day, I had a few errands to run after work and then I went to visit my parents for a little while, they're leaving for Florida tomorrow. I still can't believe they won't be here on Thanksgiving, I'm going to miss them. Anyway, I spent the rest of the day catching up with my daily chores. I'm going to turn in soon. I've been checking out some of the coverage from the area's around Buffalo. 60 to 70 inches of snow? OMG!!!!!!!!

I would so be moving!!!

It's on the news now. YIKES!

I know!!! I keep seeing all of these pictures of people's open doors and the snow almost all of the way to the top of the door frame. I just keep thinking where do you even start. Take bucketful's to the bathtub until you create enough room to get out and shovel?

I have finally caught up, I was behind by over 30 pages when I first logged on today.

Look what I spent part of my day doing:

I have our first tree up, lights and bead garland on it. We will be decorating it hopefully Thursday or Friday.

I am glad that the big tree is up, now I just have to worry about the 6ft tree, and the knick-knacky stuff, and the outdoor lights. I will get the knick-knacks done throughout the week after work, and the outdoor stuff next Tuesday. My next day off. I work the next 6 days in a row for the final push.

I am heading to bed in a few.

Woke up with another headache, this is becoming a daily thing with me. Just waiting for my medicine to kick in and then I'll be heading to Target for a few things. Little Sophie has her first veterinarian appointment this afternoon. My daughter also has a doctor appointment after school, she's been having some tummy issues the past couple of days. She said she felt a bit better this morning so maybe it's just a little virus, we'll see. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and has a nice day. I'll see you later!

Those are some crazy snow pics! I bet the folks that live close to the great lakes can't wait until they freeze over thus the stopping of the lake effect snowfall. I just can'tcomprehend that much snowfall...its just nuts!
