I had a dream this weekend I have to tell y’all about! I can dream some strange things, as we all can. But, I dreamed I ran a Christmas themed lodge (not really a hotel, as it didn't seem to be open to the public). But it was a large open space decorated to look like a village in the nighttime (dimly lit, stars on the ceiling, Victorian type street lights scattered about, of course Christmas trees, and other decorations). The rooms to sleep in were little brick buildings scattered about that looked like cozy little cottages. Oh, and there was a pool that was in a separate room that had several Christmas trees around it, and a really cool fake ice display with glaciers making it look like a North Pole themed pool. It was awesome!
Best part… some of y’all were there, and it was so much fun! J Don’t know why I had this dream but maybe it was my mind’s visualization of what the Pines would look like or maybe just my mind’s “happy place.” Sadly, Carl was not there. It was great though and I wish I could dream it again. It’s funny how a dream can seem so real when you’re having it. I know, I’m weird…but what a dream! If I had millions, I’d make it a reality.

Awesome!

I plan to drive a friend of mine to Chico tomorrow so she can pick up some things with a gift card she received for Christmas. She can't afford a car, so I help when I can. She fell and broke her hip just before school started and was told by her doctor not to ride her two-wheel bike. Some kind person found out about this, bought her a gorgeous three-wheel bike, pimped it out (can I say that here?), and put it just outside her back door (They did this anonymously.). It was so much fun to watch her and listen to her trying to figure out who gave her the bike. What is really funny is that she thought it was I, and I thought it was another mutual friend. I am sure that tomorrow she will try to logically figure it out some more, so I know our trip to Chico will be interesting! I love it when what I consider a miracle like this happens. It really confirms my faith. TTY sometime after we return.

Thoughtful people abound who need no reward but to see the joy of others :)

As I was just reading, I came across the name of a breed of dog. Have you ever heard of a Borzoi? I had to look it up. Very interesting reading!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

This is earlier than my regular posting time, but Nancy and I are going to Savannah this morning, and I'll be all day. I thought I'd drop a quick note before we go. She's having a few tests today at the doctor's office, and they said to plan to stay a while. I don't think it's anything to really worry about, but I'd appreciate some prayers and kind thoughts for her.

In the meantime, I'm going to have another cup of coffee and a few more reduced-fat Oreos before we go.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning, Folks.

Another new week greets us.
It brings with it yet another count figure and moves us another step closer to our SECOND Milestone of 2014:

Days to the Season: 297
Days to Christmas Day: 339

And that signpost up ahead indicates we are just 3 1/2 weeks away from the one-quarter marker to the Season!

It still felt rather chilly all day yesterday. Not as warm as we were hoping for.
Now. today is supposed to see us reach close to 60 degrees for the high with no rain.
That will certainly be nice!
Currently, we show 38.3 degrees on our back door digital thermometer.

Have a Marvelous Monday and a Stupendous Start to your week!

That is a cool dream, I would love to meet all of you, that would be one of the best Christmas gifts ever.

My sentiments, exactly!!✨

Yes, they are so beautiful & intelligent. I learned about them in school, but haven't seen much of them around. They are so graceful when they run!

I am so out of the loop, I don't know any of these newer shows. When my kids were small all they wanted to watch was Barney & Friends. I still remember all of the words to those songs.

Don't worry, Barney is still around and driving parents nuts today! EA never really watched it, but DS does!

Watching the Pats and Broncos. Managed to get a little Xmas shopping done online between snaps. Dual charging docks for both the boys, for their iPhones and iPads. And a Williams and Sonoma blue tooth speaker for the wife's kitchen :)

That dual dock sounds like something I may like! I will have to check into that. Congrats on getting more Christmas shopping done!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a cloudy day here with a high of 34 and then the snow moves in again tonight followed by Polar vortex round 2. At least round 2 isn't going to be as bad as round one. I still hate to see below zero temps in the forecast though. Not much going to for me today. Mom has a migraine and stayed home from work, so I might end up taking her to the doctor's for a shot. Other than that, I'll just be trying to catch up on some stuff here on the computer I think. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

-23 again tonight for us! Hope the heat stays on this time.

Hope Mom feels better soon, I'll keep her in my prayers buddy.
