Merry Friday all. I hope everything went well with your Thanksgiving celebrations. Now it's all about Christmas Yaaay!!

There is a lot of Black Friday madness here . I can only imagine what it's like over there!!! LOL!

We are having a great holiday season despite some hiccups. Ms HollyJolly came up sick while we were on vacation. I resisted as long as i could but Saturday got sick as well. it happened as the worst of hers was over. Good timing because i needed her to step up even though she is still sick. That said, it has still put a bit of a crunch on our schedule...especially the part where we help others out with their holiday needs and decorating. We can function for short bursts and then need to lay down. About the only good to have come from it involves watching TV and movies.

Even with all that going on, we're thankful and have been doing ok. Hopefully we are just a few days from better health and can get back on track. I have done a lot more Cybershopping from a prone position rather than going to the stores much.

I hope both of you feel better soon.

I have the weekend off!!! Wooohooo!!!!

Black Friday shift was no problem, I got to miss the chaos and crowds, but I still hated it.

I bought a turkey for dinner tomorrow night, we just hate not having any leftovers, so it will Thanksgiving 2.0 tomorrow for us.

Watching the Bruins now, I am thinking of at least setting up the 6.5 foot tree tonight to decorate tomorrow while the bird is in the oven.

I hope you all had a great day, and won't see you in any of those Black Friday brawl videos. cheesy

Good evening!
Well I didn't think I was going to go shopping today but I ended up going to a couple of stores. I had received a postcard in the mail for a free Keepsake ornament called Sound The Trumpet so I decided to go and pick it up. While I was there I treated myself to two more, Poppy Holidays and Rudolph's Misfit Toys ornament. Then I went to Kohl's and bought myself 5 new sweaters. The prices were awesome and I really needed them for the winter so I couldn't pass them up. And then I headed to Lord and Taylor because I had a $20 coupon. I bought four boxes of Shiny Brite ornaments (they were 50% off) five wooden soldier ornaments and two other vintage looking ornaments. So I guess I kind of spoiled myself today. I think I'm going to stay out of the stores for the rest of the weekend, lol. I do plan to shop online for the girls though on Cyber Monday.
Not too much going on here tonight. The girls are exhausted from working overnight shifts. It's going to be a long weekend for them, the outlets are crazy busy right now. I feel bad for them but they're young, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Good early morning here mmc! I had a good thanksgiving but must have eaten too much for yesterday I had my chronic pancreatitis act up. It's getting worse everytime I eat poultry or spicey foods. I first got it when I was overseas in Iraq and ever since then I really can't overeat like I use to be able to do. Im telling you this middle age thing sux especially when I have tried so hard to take care of myself. Anyway I can't sleep tonight. The weather is plain nuts about 40F when it should be 15F I may get dressed and go to Walmart to see what is going on there! good night or good morning!

I also forgot to mention that it is a rather sad day for me....it's the last game of the regular college football season for the ga bulldawgs when they play the ga tech yelllowjackets today in Athens,ga...go dawgs it has been a great season(well minus losing to the gators) but still a great season. 9-2

It´s a cloudy day today and not much to be done....just the regular household chores...and that´s that.
Maybe visiting a smalltown Christmas Market today...not sure about it, yet.

Oh and it seems that I caught the cold now....lol....my nose is itching...usually the first sign for a cold. Nothing serious...a cold is normal that time of the year....so all is cool
