Good morning MMC! Merry Christmas week!!!! (I can't believe it's Christmas week...) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I'm trying to get everything done at work today since tomorrow we are most likely only working a 1/2 day & then I'm off until Jan 2nd! Sooo excited!! I probably won't have a chance to get caught up on posts, but I'm going to try!!!

My bro/SIL are on their way home from the Cape. They should be in sometime later today. Yippee!!!

Nancy's mom is being moved to a hospital in Savannah today, which is good because of the quality of the hospital, but it's a little farther away. Thankfully, gas prices are much lower!

Christmas is upon us, and I'm not ready!

Thanks snowflake. We did have a nice weekend. I had visitors Saturday afternoon (my best friend & her mom - my Mom #2 - came over.) Saturday night we had neighborhood house hopping. That was a lot of fun - festive snackies at every house, ending with breakfast at the last house. Yesterday I made more Christmas candy then we went visiting to a couple friends houses. That is, after Jim got done raking leaves! Raking leaves on Dec. 21st! What the heck is up with that?? :lol:

Hope you have a festive & fun day too! Did I see that Harlowe is not feeling well?? Hope she is better at lunch!

Yep, Harlowe is having the same tummy issues. I have a feeling the antibiotics didn't clear up her bacterial issue a few weeks ago. Poor little girl. Thank you!

Good morning!
I need to run to the mall today for one more present and then I just need to pick up a couple of gift cards on the way home. Oh and I need to stop at the pet store to replace one of the cats Christmas toys. Bentley stole a toy out of the bag in my bedroom and there are a million bite holes in it. Then back home to finish wrapping gifts. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Monday morning - Good and bad..... Bad because I liked the part where I slept in to 9:00am on Saturday and Sunday instead of getting up at 5:30 this morning...

Good because we are into our first full day of Winter, 3 days before Christmas and I'm only working a half day today.....

It was a brisk 27 degrees this morning with frost all over the van this morning but according to some of the weather reports, it is supposed to gradually warm up and we are supposed to get rain for the next 3 days... Yup, rain for the next 3 days! Yuck, a rainy Christmas.

I found out yesterday that we are going to my in-laws for Christmas because we got a complete confirmation that all of my wife's relatives will be coming into town on the 27th from Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. And so we will be hosting them for Christmas at our house. Should be a pretty happening good time!!!!

So, looks like my Christmas plans are starting to come all together! What are your plans for Christmas?

Fun times ahead! (minus the rain...boooo!) We are going to my sisters for Christmas Eve (the 1st Christmas Eve ever that we wont' be at our parents house!) - we have no plans on Christmas Day. Will probably go to Mom & Dads at some point. Christmas with the in-laws is on Friday night Dec. 26th. Christmas with my cousins at my uncles house on the 27th. Tis the Season.... ENJOY!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a warmer day with rain moving in this afternoon and sticking around through Christmas eve. I have to take mom up to the unemployment office to turn in some paperwork and then I have a few errands to run while I'm out. My sister has also come down with the stomach bug now so I may have to go pick up a few things for her. I'm thinking I might need to get a bunch of lysol and some face masks before I babysit my niece's tomorrow and go to their house on Christmas eve and Christmas. LOL!!!!! Then this afternoon I will start the prep work for the dishes I'm making for Christmas dinner. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Oh no ~ I hope EVERYONE is healthy for Christmas!!!! Have a good day made! Stay dry! (and keep the rain!)

I saw gas for $1.83 a gallon today!!! I really should have stopped and filled up. It's still $2.24 right around me. Hopefully it will fall to match the stations up by the unemployment office!!!
