Yes, we have made it back again.
As Lawrence Welk would have said, "Wunerful Wunerful!"
Now for Crown's long-awaited one week vacation from countdowning.
It comes at a good time too, as we are planning a 4-day visit to see cousins who moved to Alabama a few years ago and whos new house we have not seen.
We are leaving Saturday morning early and returning Tuesday, so I will be back in time to launch the Christmas Countdown 2015 thread.
Which of course, brings me to the annual sad part.
This thread will be locked down promptly at the stroke of midnight following the 31st, to be immediately succeeded by the New Year's Countdown thread.
(Sad, but also exciting!)
Still MORE rain yesterday.
Enough already. We have developed ponds in both our front and back yards and we lost power twice yesterday.
Hopefully, today will be drier.
This morning has started off at a warm 51 degrees, here.

Most of my family is in Michigan and Colorado and my son lives in Montreal. I couldn't travel this year so I'm going solo but making the best of it as always. It's Christmas so it's a beautiful thing no matter. Glad to read that you are nearer to family. Did you recently move closer to family or did they move closer to you?
