I am this year worse than normal. I'm not sure if it's because I feel like the Fall passed me by and so much of the season, or what. But I'm okay. I always have MMC!

Hello everyone. We've been busy cleaning today, taking a lot of stuff to some donation centers and freeing up some space in our house.

Good evening, and Merry Christmas,

We had a very nice Christmas Eve and Day. This year for us it was just feeling like going through the motions though. It has been a very tough time for our oldest with Sidney's passing, and for that matter, us too. We lost all momentum with the season at that point. We tried to make it a good time for him, but he has been depressed and sick and it has been a struggle. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers, he hid in his room on Christmas Eve and cried for a while because he missed his buddy.

Santa was good to all of us yesterday, we all had a very good time with all the family. We have one more Christmas party to go to tomorrow.

We did get to do a little after Christmas sale shopping today, I picked up a new coat for $16 marked down from $65 and a brand new Possible Dreams Santa. It was the Elf on the Shelf version, it is just the perfect one at this stage in our lives with my children.

They are snowbirds for 3 months

When I lived in Vegas, it was awesome! Because I'd see them at least three times while they were there. It was just a 5.5 hour drive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy for them that they can do it and have a wonderful time!
