Thank you for your kind words and prayers.

I spent the day at my in-laws house, and it was a very tough day.
We were blessed to all spend Christmas with her. What an amazing & loving woman she was. I will miss her deeply. Still in shock.
I feel lost right now, and came here for some sense of normalcy.

Thank you all, again.

Good Morning!!!

Still feeling festive today! I went back to work yesterday for the first time since Christmas and surprisingly felt great! I love my job, that was not the issue, I just usually feel that letdown going back to work and getting back on routine after enjoying Christmas. I also got a belated Christmas gift from a co-worker that kept that Christmas spirit alive. I waited on a customer that is still in the holiday spirit and he told me he is still watching Christmas movies. Yay! There are more people like us! It helped that our local radio station was still playing Christmas tunes on the way to work and back.

On a bummer note - Wayne is now sick with a cold! I finally get over mine and passed it right along to him. I feel he needs to take the day off but if he does they will take away his holiday pay - they make no exceptions. I guess they want him to come in and pass it around. :-( Going to fix him a nice warm breakfast in hopes it will give him the energy he needs.

So my daughter needs to have two wisdom teeth taken out. I couldn't get an appointment with the oral surgeon until January 8th, and that's just for a consultation. It's a good thing she's not in pain. She said it feels achy every now and then, hopefully it won't get worse before the appointment. The day went by so fast for me, too many chores & errands. I didn't even have a chance to work on the girls bedrooms. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. I was in Kohls earlier, I had a $10 coupon I wanted to use. I put it towards a new pair of sneakers, I plan to start walking on the treadmill again. Fingers crossed that I stick with it this time. I really hate to exercise. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and had a nice day. I'll see you in the morning ~

Please pass along that New Years Cheer to me!!! I try so hard to embrace New Years Day but just feel a total letdown that the Holidays are truly over!!! I don't want anyone to think I just sit around crying (ha ha), I just cannot get into that day even though I try to be optimistic. I hope I can continue to feel festive for New Years Eve/Day! cheesy Keep your fingers crossed!!! :razz:

I feel the same way, New Year's Day is my least favorite day of the year. I hate it mainly because the rest of the world has pretty much forgotten about Christmas, and the next Christmas feels so far way.

I finally made some time to visit MMC tonight, it feels like weeks since I have made this much time for my favorite place on the web.

Nothing much going on around here, just a lot of family time, which has been great. We really have needed it.

Watching the 80's shlockfest, A Very Brady Christmas right now, we got so far behind on all of our Christmas movies this year. This one is a true guilty pleasure. cheesy

I have picked up another Santa, I will post a picture soon.
