The long range forecast has us with below average temps for the next 15 days. If we can get a lot more snow, the weather will be perfect. I would like to not see the ground until March.

Ya know, MC, I feel that way too when anyone on here is sick. I hate to think of those of you who go into work not feeling up to par but still doing it anyway. At least I don't have to go in and teach feeling like this.

Busy day today, as always. It is good to be in where it is warm! Looking out my back window the snow is still a pristine white ~ so beautiful in the sunlight! I have chores to do and then I think I might tackle cleaning out my spice cupboard. I made spaghetti sauce earlier and was rummaging around in the cupboard, looking for items. Fresh herbs would be so much better, but I used the dried I had on hand and even remembered to add a bay leaf. Anyhow, the cupboard is a mess, but it was too late last night to do anything about it so today is the day. If I get organized now, it will be so much easier to do things later on in the year when I feel the crunch of trying to get everything in that I want to do at Christmas. At least, that is my goal. I figure if I start now, I just might have things ready in time for the season. Time permitting, I will work on crafts or read.

Thanks for the prayers! I tried to post an update yesterday, but I kept getting kicked off this site!

Mom is doing well. She had a good nights sleep last night. They should hopefully be kicking her out of the hospital this morning. (Brrrrrrrr - she may not want to go out - ya right!) I stayed with her awhile last night, walked the halls with her...her phone rang non stop...I told her that's what she gets for having so many d*&# kids! Ha ha ha! She's a loved lady!

My FIL's surgery went well. He will get out of the hospital, coming closer to home, probably on Saturday for rehab at the nursing home. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery!
