Good afternoon, MMC!

It took a half hour longer to catch up on here than I figured it would. cheesy

Cold and sunny out so I am going to spend the day home, baking and cleaning items I want to put in the store. Time permitting I will work on the afghan for my niece ~ I'm up to the part where the rounds take a long time to do. Getting close to finishing! Need to do some reading, too, as I am involved in a read-a-thon. It is for fun and to make headway on to-be-read piles.

I haven't started acquiring new music yet as I don't remember what I have on the desktop. It was too cold to try fixing it this past weekend ~ maybe this coming weekend I can. I intend to get a lot of the older albums I have seen ~ I have a few sources where they are very inexpensive which will allow me to spend the money on getting something to digitize them. By working on things early I should be able to meet any deadlines later in the year. cheesy

School closures and bus cancellations January 27, 2014 For the Stratford Area Rural (Country) Schools, ALL Rural (Country) buses have been cancelled and the following schools: St.Patrick’s (Kinkora) – is closed Central Perth Elementary School – is closed Downie Central Public School – is closed North Easthope Public School – is closed Sprucedale Public School – will remain open for those students whose parents make them go anyway.

At -27c (-16f) we also have a wind chill warning, plus another fresh layer of snow with more on the way.

Star, really, you gotta get out of there while your head is still above the snow.

I've been searching the goodwill's and other outlet stores here. I've also been buying them used off of amazon.

I'm working on a surprise afghan for a co-worker who's getting married in June. It's a single color (light purple) that's all textured stitches. After that there's a pattern for a pillow that incorporates a pine tree that I want to try.
