The next row, which is shells worked into the spaces, requires the number of spaces to be evenly divisible by 4, but the pattern stitch works out to 70 spaces! It needs to be either 68 or 72. I'll have to frog what I did last night and fudge it somehow when I redo it so I get the right multiple of spaces. Urgh! I had jotted a note on the pattern the last time I worked it that says "72 spaces/multiple of 4," but didn't make any notes on how I managed to do that! I think I need to make some more notes! One thing I like about crochet over knitting is that it's easier to fudge a couple stitches more or less when you need to. But it's such a pain when you need to!

It really sucks when a pattern does not work out! Hope you can figure it out. ((((HUGS))))

I hope you don't get all that snow, but if you do, take care! Bummer about the pattern not coming out right ~ I, too, hate when that happens. I'm sure the finished product will be beautiful, as all your work is!

We were supposed to get a dusting of snow today, we got about 3.5 inches of unexpected accumulation, and now we have a storm that they are saying will possibly dump a foot tomorrow into Wednesday, and now this weekend. Winter has been slow to arrive snow wise, but it looks like it will be trying to make up on lost time.

Work was very slow thanks to the weather, I was able to get a lot done.

Day off tomorrow, I don't have much of anything planned. I have thought of running to Goodwill again, but I think they get sick of seeing me, I stop weekly to see what type of Christmas treasures or books I can find. They probably call me that crazy Christmas guy at this point. cheesy

I will be heading to bed soon, I may catch a little Leno before turning in since it is his last week. I like Leno, but I am looking forward to Jimmy Fallon.

Weather is supposed to move in at 9:00 am, which is way too close to kids being on buses.

I'd rather parents be mad that we kept their kids at home instead of them being mad that we put them at risk.

Anyways...I get to read Christmas related articles for a while! Yes!
