Christmas Countdown - 2014

The crochet hook is from The Crochet Dude at Boye. I really like them, although I had just recently started having problems with the back of my palm, near the base of my thumb. I got the ergonomic hooks in reply to that before it got worse.

If you try the sucking-out-air thingy, let me know how it works. Too bad it wouldn't work on books, LOL!

No, but I've seen them. I have a lovely set of Brittany black walnut hooks that I use. They don't make them in black walnut anymore. Otherwise I like the Susan Bates line of aluminum and plastic hooks. I bought an ergonomic handle that was supposed to work with Bates hooks, but I couldn't get it to go together right. Are the ones that you got Clover, or another brand? Let me know what you think.






Hmm ... I wonder if that would work. I use some of them to store things in my cedar chest.

Oh, I am so glad. Poor little tyke; I hope he feels lots better!

He went, and he hasn't been sick (knock on wood) yet.

He saw The Lego Movie, and he liked it.

So far, we are really enjoying the Beatles show. I remember their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. We had to go to church that night, but we made it back home in time to see the Beatles part. Am I the only one at MMC who saw the original show?

It doesn't look like there will be enough snow on the ground for a snow day or even a delay in the morning. But there will be enough to shovel and clean off the cars before the kids go to school. There's no way my husband will be up that early so I'm going to wake up extra early, hopefully there won't be much snow.

Good evening. Busy day here for me. I had a busy night at work - I was just glad to get out on time this morning. I came home and slept some, went for dinner, and then did a big grocery shopping trip. I was glad to get that out of the way - I hate grocery shopping! Anyway, I was just glad to be off for the day.
