She was supposed to have pj day at school today and we felt bad that she was missing it, so the stuff that they were doing today, we did with the kids here instead.

My gfather was deactivating a bomb from the bay and a train ran over the line, it went off before he and a mate got clear. His name is on the wall at the Canberra War Memorial. We leave a poppy everytime we go and listen to the haunting sounds of a bugler playing last post at evening close.

I am so sorry that happened! Your grandfather and his mate are true heroes! That is a lovely tribute you leave in his rememberance!

Just checking in for the final time tonight. Once I have things wrapped up the rest of the evening will be free. I have some planning to do and hopefully I will find the time to finish the book I am currently reading. It's too cold to go out and I don't want to leave Palmer alone for too long at night as she has been sneezing and coughing quite a bit this past week. If I can't sleep I am going to watch "The Year Without a Santa Claus" - Snow Miser's song has been stuck in my head all day. cheesy

Thanks, Meceka! That means a lot. Both of our parents gave us a great childhood and I want to pass that along to my kids. God gave me two special blessings, so for that, I am thankful and I want to always spoil them as much as I can!
