[Holiday]

Hello strangers!!!! I guess we have been busy...haven't been on here for far too long!!! Hope all is well with everyone!!!! Cold here again today -4! (not as cold as some of you, but Brrrrrrrr!) I hope the days of negative 0's are numbered!!!!

We had a big day Saturday. Went to look at a cabinet makers showroom. Very impressive! He is working up a quote for our new kitchen cabinets/island. My brother is critiquing the plans the lumber company drew up for our sun room/year round room. Ahhhhh....soooo many decisions!

THEN (the REALLY) exciting party - we went to see puppies!!!!!

One of these 3 babies (these are the 3 available females) will be ours. We get the 1st pick when they are ready, towards the end of the month:

Will be a tough decision!! My sister says we should go for little miss front & center...my brother says to pick the lifeless one! HA!!! Maybe we will go for the middle of the road one! :smile:

Just heard the Tavern up the road is on fire, mutual aid called. I hate to hear that. They have great food!!! My 1st job was in the kitchen there - then I bartended for a little while once I was old enough. Hope it's not too bad!

Anyway - I better get back to work! Have a great day everyone! Stay warm & safe!

Oh my gosh, those puppies are so darn cute and sweet!! That will be a tough decision I always go for the underdog, no pun intended!! Then I watched the video, and it was even harder to place my vote.They are all precious. I always go back to thinking take the one least likely to get a home, although I'm sure they all will!

Good luck with the kitchen choices, how exciting, as well!

Praying for the tavern, hope no one is hurt, and that it's just minor. Sounds like you have made a lot of memories there.

"The books" all say not to pick the 1st one that runs to you & not to pick the one that hangs out in the back, but the one that is in the middle. Well there was definitely 1 of all 3 types in this group. Ha ha! Yes, all puppies are spoken for. All puppies were sold within a week of him posting it on the website! There are 5 males & 4 females total. The 1st lady that called wanted a female with an undocked tail, so they didn't bring her in for us to see since she won't be available. I guess we will check out their personalities - how much they have changed - when we go to pick her up....then do eenie meenie miney moe! Ha ha!

Yes, excited about the cabinets & new room, but I hate making those kinds of decisions! Wish it was done!!! Ah well...we'll get there!

According to the scanner, everyone is out of the building & they think a heating unit over heated & blew smoke into the bar. Hopefully there was no fire & minimal smoke damage!!! Fingers crossed! Yes - we have many, many, many memories at that place!

By the way "little miss front & center" ended up crawling out of the basket, walking over to Jims feet, she sat down & stared at us. She was pretty darn irresistible! The breeder said "I think she wants to go home with you today!" But I told her she would miss her Mommy!!! :smile:

I finished Charlie's blankie & he appears to LOVE it! Charlie is my niece's golden doodle Pup! 11 weeks old!

Speaking of Bob Newhart I am a HUGE fan of The Bob Newhart Show when he was the psychiatrist. I own all the available seasons on DVD. They have yet to release season 5 and 6, hopefully someday they will!
