TGIF, my Christmas friends!

I just got an alert on my cell phone about a severe thunderstorm warning in effect here till 2pm. Great. I just my driveway in good shape.

Elizabeth is going to Charleston, SC this afternoon with her best friend's family to see a play, then a fancy dinner. They're staying overnight, then shopping in Savannah tomorrow. This is the first time I've let my baby stay overnight out of town without one of us. But, we are friends with the family. They are a strong Christian family, and the dad is Nancy's doctor, so I feel secure with them. I hope they come home early tomorrow!

And there you have it. Down to ONE LONE WEEK until the 300-day Christmas Day Milestone, number 3 on our chart!
Then a double-200's count.

Warm once again yesterday, with 70 degrees again being surpassed.
Should be a pretty good weekend ahead too, although this morning it looks like rain.
For now, we record a surprisingly high 65 degrees on our back door thermometer. (Makes me worry about violent weather!)

I work until noon today then I'm having lunch with my sister, then she is going to cut/highlight my hair! I'm long over due on both! Those are the only plans for the day/night that I know of. We'll leave around 8:30 tomorrow morning to get the puppy! Let the craziness begin! Hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! Well the warm temps have gone and winter has made it's return. We currently stand at 30 degree's with 40 mph winds. There are also some light snow showers around. I have a lot to get done around the apartment today and then I have to figure out what is going on with my kindle. It was plugged into the wall charging when we lost power last night and now it's acting all crazy. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Don't know if it's the weather, or the long stretch of winter, but I'm kinda jittery today for no good reason. I hope I can shake it off soon.

We have close to three feet on the ground right now, and an ice storm moving in tonight. Winter in New England, I just go with the flow.

Hope it wasn't to bad last night!!!

They have now changed our snow accumulation totals to 9-14 inches, my morning commute may be a tad interesting.

Glad no one was hurt!!! With as much snow as you guys have gotten, I'm surprised this hasn't happened more.

Did anyone catch Jimmy Fallon last night, this "skit" just made me laugh. It is awesome!

Hi ya snowflake! I just got home from an 18 hour day at the office and I am just stopping by to say hi to everyone and to just check in for just a short while (I gots to go to bed, xmastidings is very tired) as what's happening with the rest of the world here....

Thanks for checking up with me and generally asking. I'm holding my own to be honest and fair. I'm sore still, but yet find myself doing a little more each and everyday. Some days are better than others, but I just grin and bear it.

I've been a little slammed as of late, which is why I have not been here too much with between my job being so busy, I have several contractors working in the house, re-doing the shower in the Master Bedroom and with the surgery, Which is supposed to take up to 12 weeks to fully heal....:-?
busy, busy, busy~

We have a lot of snow on the ground yet (even with the 50 degree days, these past couple of days), we still have 12 - 36 inches deep of snow in our yard, so any outdoor things is out of the question. So, we have been painting, spackling, replacing, re-doing things ourselves in the house and also having contractors doing things in here as well. Today, I had electricians here, re-doing some wiring that I found that was illegal behind a wall and re-doing some light switches and installing GFI breakers in the panel. Tomorrow, the plumbers will be here, laying tile and a couple of HVAC contractors will be here as well, to give me some quotes on some work that I want done.

I'm off work the rest of the week, so tomorrow I'll stop by again to check in..

Good morning!
I can't believe it's Friday already, the week went by so fast. My daughter will be flying home this evening. We are expecting heavy rain off and on all day, maybe even a thunderstorm. Hopefully the flight will be on time. I would appreciate prayers, I've got that nervous feeling again.
Not too much going on for me today. I'm going to finish up my grocery list and go the butcher. I'll probably wait until tomorrow to the rest of my food shopping, I don't feel like going in the rain. Other than that, I'll be working on daily chores.
